Note - this existed with my Ford Energi also, which used MyFordMobile, not FordPass.
I have peak rate from 11AM - 7PM Mon - Fri. I setup a charging profile for Home to charge from 7PM - 11AM (note - it will not let me setup a profile from 7PM to midnight, and then midnight to 11AM due to overlapping times [midnight], plus that didn't work for Ford Energi.
Vehicle correctly reflects this charging time.
There are no departure times scheduled.
There are no other charge locations stored, and no other charge hours.
Vehicle is adequately charged, so there is no "it has to charge outside those hours because it's so low". It's at 60%, and was at 100% (dealer delivery) the day prior.
Plug in vehicle, it starts to charge... Only way to stop it from charging is to unplug it, or install WiFi outlet to cut juice (currently charging with 110 volts).
Hours are determined by a rate plan, same utility and rate plan that Ford has at HQ. Populates hours correctly. Ford Support suggests to change to hard-coded hours. Makes no difference. With the Ford Energi, despite discussing this at their weekly meetings, they came up with no solution. With the Energi, it was hit or miss, sometimes it would start charging, sometimes it would not. That's why we used the WiFi outlet.
My dealer has already pushed Ford to get an Engineer on this, because he's annoyed that I'm annoyed.
Anyone experience similar issue? Once we hook up the 220 charger, no more outlet timer, and it's a real pain to go and plug it in at 7PM at night (have to open two garage doors to get to vehicle. Plus it should work.
