I traveled to NYC, and this one was on my bucket list (my dear wife was confused why I wanted to drive to Flatbush):

I had the opportunity to charge at the just inaugurated Revel's Brooklyn SuperHub located at the historic Pfeizer Bldg in Marcy St, Flatbush. This place was huge occupying almost half of a city block. The only of its kind in the US to feature CSS/ChaDeMo/Tesla plugs. The Tritium EVSE was rated @ 75kWH, my SOC was @ 69% and it charged to 80% in exactly 3 minutes !!! The Tritium EVSE ramped up instantaneously to 70kW and it stayed there for the entire 180 seconds, and it eventually dropped to under 5 kW after reaching 80% SOC. I have never experienced this kind of charging speed ever, not at any of the 150 kW & 350 kW EA 's EVSEs ....this was indeed an exhilarating experience ... it was mesmerizing at best to watch the charging meter needle!

PS: The blue Tesla Model Y fleet in the lot is the Revel other enterprise using Tesla's as car service in NYC.

While 75kW chargers are fairly fast, EA has 150 and 350 kW chargers that t charge the Mustang Mach E in almost half the time of 75kW chargers.

69% - 80% is only 11% or 7.5kWh on the small battery. Make sense it would cover that pretty quickly.

Have you charged at any of the new Tritium chargers? The problem with the EA's 150 kW & 250 kW chargers is that it does not maintain the rate, I have yet to experience so far any chargers as fast as the Tritium ones regardless of the ratings.

The rate is controlled by the car not the charger. Thus regardless of the charger you're plugged into you're still going to get that 80% cliff.

You know that DC charging slows down significantly above 80% right? The EA chargers should be faster than that tritium one provided you are below 80% charge. Wondering if you are trying to charge above 80% all the time and that's why you think they're slow.

I used one of the 150 Electrify America chargers a couple weeks ago to charge from 29% to 80 and it ramped up to 150 for a couple minutes then down to 100 for the rest of charge. Roughly 20 minutes to complete that charge. Based off of maintaining the 100, it makes sense that it would be faster then a 75. I think it's awesome that there are so many chargers available there. Good sign

I didn’t know you could get Teslas in Grabber Blue??
In real life it's a teal blue not the Grabber Blue that is offered by Mach-e, it's more like the yellow cab paint but in blue.

I should have depleted the battery more before charging at this place. The difference is that even though it was at 70 kWH it remained constant till it hit the cliff @ 80%,.

I was never able to attain anything more than 45-50 kWH for more than 2-3 minutes at any of the EA's chargers. Typically from 25% to 80% it would take me about 48-56 minutes.

Is it running on heavy water? ?
In my experience with EA chargers they start at over 100kW and then settle at 70-80kW until the 80%. I don't think 1kWh per minute is a great charging speed.

No, I haven't used the Tritium chargers but you said they have a 75kW max. When charging at EA chargers, they start with a minute or so at 130+ (about 165kW on the 350kW units) then ramp down to around 105-110 until 40% SOC is reached, then 85-100kW until 80% SOC is reached, then the precipitous drop to about 15kW. All of the charging below 80%SOC on these units is much faster that a 75kW unit is capable of delivering.
