From tonight's Discovery Your Ford (Mach-E) livestream:
https://www.ford.com/support/vehicle/2021/Ford/Mustang Mach-E/discover-your-ford/livestream/

is the speed limit tolerance on intelligent cruise control able to be set up over 5mph, or is the highest limit we can set up to 5mph?
⮑Moderator: The speed limit tolerance for Intelligent Cruise Control can be set up to 20 mph.

With 1-pedal driving, when do the brake lights come on?
⮑Moderator: When you release your foot from the pedal, the brakes are applied. Hence, your brake lights come on when you release the pedal.

When the automatic wipers come on due to rain, do the headlights come on fully or will it only illuminate the daytime indicators?
⮑Moderator: Autolamp will turn the low beam headlamps on when the windshield wipers operate.

When will remote opening of the frunk be included in the Power-Up OTAs?
⮑Moderator: Do due to a mechanical release, it can only be opened manually from inside the vehicle.

If I have a PAAK profile and my husband has a PAAK profile, will the Mustang Mach E get confused as to which one of us is driving? or does it just know who is at the driver's door?
⮑Moderator: With the operating range of 131ft, the vehicle probably will not know who is at the door.

the lane centering indicator. What do the different colors mean?
⮑Moderator: The Lane Centering indicator illuminates when you switch Lane Centering on. The color of the indicator changes to indicate the system status. Gray indicates the system is on but inactive. Green indicates the system is active and applying steering torque assistance input to keep your vehicle in the center of the lane. Amber with an audible tone and then gray indicates a system automatic cancellation.

That PAAK answer is quite concerning. The vehicle should definitely be able to know the difference between 100+ feet vs sitting in the car. This would mean anyone who leaves their car outside their home should definitely not use PAAK.

No other similar system seems to behave the same way either. 130 feet is well within the range of other rooms, etc. as well. Sorry: I was in the kitchen with my phone! Also, who doesn't go out as a couple both with phones? I wonder if anyone has confirmed?
What I was trying to say is that I don't think their responses were factually correct. Including the PaaK response.

I gotcha...I was sort of hoping out loud with logic that it can't be true...but older posts indicate it at least gets confused with two PaaK. If that's still true it's another example of terrible design on this feature. Clearly two PaaK people are likely to enter the car and clearly it needs to understand that the one entering the driver's door is in fact the driver and load the correct profile associated with the driver phone.

Maybe this is fixed now. Not sure.
Yeah I'm not sure either as I've never tested this.

There is a electronic button inside the Frunk... are they saying that the button does not work? What's with the two leaked updates showing a button in the app as well as a button in the cars menu?

I've been staring at your avatar for 2 minutes now. It's a puzzle and it must be solved, dammit. I will keep watching the little movie until it stops.

Sorry. This reply is off topic. I have nothing useful to add here. *

PaaK does know the difference. First of all, the phone needs to be near either side of the car for the buttons on the doors to open the car. I tried with my phone in a room adjacent to my garage, and it didn't work. It doesn't even work with the phone placed on top of the car. In my garage it works if you are about 12 feet away approximately. Anything more than that doesn't work. Also, the car clearly knows if the phone is inside the car. It won't let you start the car unless the phone is in the car. Right outside the driver's door doesn't work. It's basically doing what I would want it to do.

If two people with PaaK enter the car, and the car choses the wrong person as the driver, just use a preset button on the door to select the other profile.

You can also select which phone/profile is a favorite within the Mach E settings. I am usually the primary driver, so I set my phone as the favorite; therefore, if both my wife and I enter at the same time, the car autoselects my phone and profile.

I swear I read somewhere that it had a bluetooth antenna in the drivers door and would imagine they auto select whichever phone has a stronger signal level. But radio can do *WEIRD* things specially when you share frequencies with wifi 2.4ghz band. Should get it right *most* of the time.

I think it might be a subtle troll of Ford? Tesla has intelligent hackers happily coding away. F-150 has some ape randomly pounding away on a keyboard. Mustang Mach E has some lower animal shoving a computer away as if it does not understand what’s going on?
That’s my interpretation.
Does Sandy Munro offer a selection of avatars to his paid subscribers? ???

Still waiting on my MME SO is the frunk release mechanical? Surely most people on here would have known this, right?

Yes, we were told that in an interview with Darren Palmer as well. However, it's turning out that often Darren speaks about what the car is supposed to do with reality falling a bit short.

I find it usually works but that may also be because I'm usually the driver. The car will pick up on the first person to arrive as well, independent of which door they are at.
