First week with GTPE, it was not over-hyped

I do but honestly I can’t tell if you’re trolling or just truly miserable. There are many of us that are still very excited for the car and many who have the car and it’s everything they wanted. The incessant pooing on every thread that even pretends to praise the GT is a bit tiresome. There are ways out of that car, especially with demand and the chip shortage. Life is too short to be this unhappy

Exactly! The OP on this thread is clearly very happy with his car and its performance @Frankie Why do you feel the need to come and ? on his joy? Didn't complain enough in the other threads? You might find you enjoy your life more if you don't view everything as a competition.

I wouldn't have if he hadn't made a very obviously BS strawman argument pooing on anyone dissatisfied with the car's lackluster performance above 60.

Maybe I will sell it, but here's the thing:

1. My car has the factory headlight/paint defect and I've been trying to get it fixed for five weeks now and so far no progress. I'm guessing I won't get top dollar selling it with effed up paint/bodywork and I'd rather not sell a car in that condition just out of principle.
2. Maybe I can do great selling it private party but I paid nearly 70 grand for it and so far the offers I've gotten from the usual online suspects are all under 50.

I also have a GTPE. But I fit kinda in the middle of the OP and you.

I’m happy enough that I bought it. And I still hope they open up the 5 second performance thing.

At this point everyone is beating the same drum and complaining that other people are……… beating the same drum.

There are just as many “who cares?” people as “I care” people at this point. But yes, unless it’s brought up by the OP, no point in beating the same drums in every thread.

What does he want to achieve? Seems like he wants to make sure that everyone else has the opportunity to make an informed decision, because he’s still bitter he didn’t get that chance

while that's true, its the delivery. One can be dissatisfied and give an opinion without always being a dick about it

If he's happy with its performance at high speeds then great for him that's his prerogative but his silly statement that people that care about >70 mph performance should have bought a different car and are actually drag racing every weekend? He was begging for a response, he got one.

Everyone stop trying to understand. The dude blocked me for some of the 2.0T roll-on stuff even though I agreed 100% about the 1/4 trap speed issue. Plus we disagreed about what speed the GT started trailing off. No name calling or even posts that got flagged. That’s it. Blocked. Can’t see his posts at all. Ever. ?

Come to think of it, that’s why his negativity doesn’t bother me, I can’t see it. ?
