I have an extended range Mach e and I'm only getting 330kms at full charge. What is going on. The best i got was 430kms in the summer, but now it's 330 at best. Is there something wrong here?

Colder it gets, the less range you will receive. Make sure you are preconditioning your car if you can, other than that not a lot you can do. Also keep in mind the range is a guess at best.

Many threads on how the GOM isn't something to rely on, instead rely on how many kms / kwh you are getting.

As to the change, you're down 23%. Welcome to cold weather driving with an EV! You should expect up to 40% less range in the dead of winter.

A buddy of mine has a model 3 and he said his is minimal. He doesn't lose range like that. Colder weather driving sure, but we are talking about charging the car to 100% it shows a big reduction in allowable range, meanwhile his tesla is virtually the same. Why?

You haven't lost anything. Tesla's "estimated range" is an overestimate, the Mach E's is an underestimate that gets more conservative as it gets colder.

As that thread points out: what matters is the ACTUAL km/kwh that you actually achieve while driving, not the guess that the range estimator thinks you will get.

That‘s because Teslas don’t dynamically estimate their remaining range. Instead, they just show the rated range for the given battery percentage. The car won’t really go that far, but it keeps people happy because they get to see a big number. Based on the number of threads like this, it’s clearly working.

Set departure times in the car. So if you leave for work at 8:00am each day, then set the departure time for 8am. That way #1 your car will be nice and warm on the inside, and #2 it will get the battery to the temperature to give you the best efficiency possible.

As the weather gets colder and you start wearing warmer clothes and shoes/boots maybe your foot is getting heavier on the go-pedal...........using more power.

Meanwhile they increased the EPA rating in various models. That's unlikely to change the real world highway cruise range though, since the EPA rating includes speed changes.
