Is it just me or is my premium getting less bouncy.

I am wondering if my suspension is breaking in. I really hated the bounciness of my premium. Maybe I am getting used to it but at 6700 mi or so it seems less bouncy.
Does anyone else think their suspension has mellowed out? Wondering if I have Stockholm syndrome.

Mine was never that bad, but around 4,300, I feel the same way, better than early on, I think less bouncy.

Are there specific roads that you notice the issue on or is it a general all the time thing? I'm curious if this is totally subjective, road dependent, or a difference between cars.

I wondered if because of the weight of the vehicle they had to compromise on the suspension. It would be great if it was a planned shift over time. The weight must be tough to deal with. I have a friend with a Tesla 3 who thinks the ride is way to stiff/harsh.

Very road dependent, but I also feel like after nearly 7K miles it has settled down a bit. There is one bad stretch of pavement where the distance between the expansion joints is just right at 45 mph to turn my Mustang into a Bronco.

It settles in. When I first got the car, I gave some rides to coworkers and then again a couple months later they noticed it smoothed out a bit. Even now with 22k miles I still have to grab the side of the SYNC screen ifbI want to dial a phone number or touch the expand/collapse button.

I’m 8600 miles in and I don’t think mine has gotten any smoother. I really notice it on this one section of my street, I feel like I get air whenever I go over it. Then I drove my husbands Fusion over the same spot the other day and barely felt it.

I chalk it up to a sports suspension.

I let out some air, and it seemed to help slightly. Hard to say for sure, it was only 2-3 psi.

Yes. Absolutely it is specific sections of specific roads. For example, the entire westbound off ramp at Red Mountain L202 and Country Club. Some roads are paved flatter than others. The undulating roads are big time amplified by MME's suspension, and several concrete roadways with closely spaced expansion joints.

I've refilled air from 35 back to 39/40 at least a half dozen times since March, though, especially each time we cool down a bit. I don't mind a stiff ride. It's the bucking horse aspect that's no fun.

No way. I rented a GT Premium 5.0 convertible recently. That was far better planted. No bouncies at all.

My non-ST, naturally aspirated 1.6L Fiesta hatchback felt sportier than this, overall, although I feel much more confident taking turns at speed in the Mach-E than in the Fiesta, and the Mach-E doesn't sway side to side in strong winds like the lightweight Fiesta did.

The suspension will likely settle in. My Bolt was nearly undrivable when it first arrived but over the course of 6 months it settled down nicely. These are heavy cars for their size, it takes the springs a while to hit their proper rate.

Yes!
That Westboound section is pretty bad there for a Mach-E. In fact, that was really the first time I became aware of the bounce. Hadn't really noticed it up to that point. Now I notice it most places when driving at night and the headlights have something solid to shine against.....such as a concrete or CMU block wall.
