Levity in a traumatic experience is a good thing. Takes a lot of force to break a utility pole at the base, she slapped the shit out of it.Fiancée is scarred and doesn't want an EV now. She stated that the state trooper made fun of the Mach E, saying it was NOT an SUV. Haha...well, we might shop around for a Jeep GC 4xe since the leasing deals look really good, especially with the tax credit built in.
Well physics isn't on the ICE's side. There's more thermal energy in 3 gallons of gas than there is the ER's pack, fully charged. Burning to death in a vehicle typically happens with entrapment. Fire death crashes are a regular part of driving. Safer vehicles have made this less of a thing overall. EV's battery compartments are extremely strong which also increases the strength of the passenger compartment. I'd take a 5klb EV over any comparable ICE vehicle if I had to choose which one I wanted to be in during a collision. The EV is going to put a very bad hurting onto the weaker / lighter ICE vehicle. The car came with all season-extremecontact DWS's as it was the regular Mach E GT, not GTPE. Nope, she's scarred. Apparently the tow truck driver told her that he doesn't trust electric vehicles because he had someone burn inside one because they couldn't get out.
The ER mach-e has more mass than most pickup trucks on the road.
