Can't change Channels in SiriusXM

Add me to the list. Takes forever to change stations. First time seeing it this mTriedorning. Resetting with no luck. Partially installed 1.7.1. Not sure if it's update trying to install, SXM updating or something new.... Figures it's right when I have to hang out in the car 30 minutes waiting to pick someone up.

At least the channel will change after a few minutes lol. Just find one you like. I’m wondering if it’s in the middle of an update too, though my Sync version hasn’t changed or anything. I did the screen reset, hopefully that didn’t mess anything up if it’s in the middle of something.

This just started this morning for me as well. I think there was some sort of update that happened overnight because I have noticed some pretty minor UI changes with Sync. The one that stands out the most is SiriusXM now displays Artist, Song Title, and the name of the DJ or show that is playing. In the past the DJ or show name was not there.

Anyway the update totally screwed up SiriusXM. It takes about two minutes after boot to display the name of the song, and when the song changes it takes about a minute or two for the artist/title info to change with the song. Annoying.

Worse than annoying though is the inability to change the channel. It took 90+ seconds to go between two channels. It's unusable in its current form.

Whatever Ford did last night, really screwed up SiriusXM and it's unusable IMO.

Yeah it’s really bad. Is there a separate stack for SiriusXM, like is this something that SXM could have messed up and not Ford? Or is it a system issue with SXM right now possibly?

I noticed another UI change with Sync this morning. When I click on my car on the top left to bring up settings it now shows a small blue X. I believe it's to make it obvious that you click on the same car icon to close the settings menu. I know that wasn't there before today....

No app notifications about updates though. I don't pay close enough attention to know what my version numbers were before this morning.

Interesting, didn’t notice that. I don’t have 1.7.1 yet. my Sync version is still the same it says.

I don’t think it’s SXM’s problem. Works fine in my other two cars.

Today I also saw a slightly different Red warning when I was too close to the line (edge).

I suspect this might be a feature of our new OTA. Do we have anyone with this issue that has NOT received the recent PowerUp OTA?

Same here. SiriusXM works fine in my Wrangler.....so far.
