I just had the dealer install the 21P22 updates. When I got home and connected the charger, I noticed the car started charging (it shouldn't charge until off-peak rates kick in at 11pm). I checked FordPass and it reset my charge settings. It was planning to charge to 100%.
I had to re-create the 'Home' location, add charge times, and set it back to the percentage state of charge that I want (in my case 80%).
Not sure if it's typical of this update that it wipes out the preferred charge settings ... or if that was just something the tech inadvertently did. But I thought I'd let others know.
Other things...
Only two of the tire pressure sensors were giving me data until after the car drove a few blocks -- and then they were fine.
When I put it in reverse, I got a warning that the reverse braking (emergency braking to avoid you backing into something) was not working. But this also quickly remedied itself after a few minutes and was working again (I turned the car off, then back on and it was working).
Within just a few minutes everything was working fine (I was worried I was going to have to turn around and head back to the dealer).
Good things...
It seems MUCH more responsive to PaaK. When I get into the car ... it actually knows who is driving (previous to this update ... it always got it wrong or wouldn't have any driver profile displayed at all. I was used to having to manual pick the driver).
Apple CarPlay seemed to connect MUCH faster. Typically I'd start the car and ... maybe after 30 seconds or so it would connect to CarPlay. Now it's just a couple of seconds.
Having only just picked up the car after this update ... I haven't visited an Electrify America DC Fast Charger to test the differences. I'm looking forward to that.
