FordPass - somebody should get fired

Ugh, I called FordPass support. I let the operator know 3 times that I do not have the physical key on me. He told me to delete my car from FordPass. I am now stranded at work. I think that @Ford Motor Company should pay for my cab ride home so that I can get my key. ??

Backup code is tied to a phone, so when phone (PaaK) deleted, the backup code is also gone.

I ended up adding another phone and creating a new backup code, and then uninstalling FP from this phone.

Many Thanks mkhuffman, but my App does not have those 5 buttons. Version 3.34.0 installed, no updates available yet as I know 3.35.2 is out and maybe this later version allows the 5 buttons. I live in the UK so maybe 3.25.2 will be made available for the UK market soon ?

Somewhere in this rapidly growing thread I saw that if you don't have PAAK you won't see these additional buttons. I don't see them either. We don't appear to have PAAK in the U.K. I can only think it's because of the insurance companies here. That's why we have Fiesta key fobs and not Mustang ones. The Fiesta keys "sleep" after they detect no movement for a certain length of time and the Mustang ones don't.

LOL This is a complete Charlie-Foxtrot. PaaK creation keeps failing. I have 48 notifications that a PaaK has been created. Gonna try again after I get home. At least I now have my physical key. It cost me enough to grab a cab home. @Ford Motor Company needs to make it right. At least split the cost of the cab with me. ??

Heh, I was on the phone with three different techs today trying to create a new PaaK. They blamed cell service (second tech I had on the phone when trying to create a new PaaK capitulated when I told her I had all 4 bars highlighted), BT connections, lack of WiFi signal... The last one I spoke with said he had to escalate. ?‍?

I have done so many PaaK resets, I think my touchscreen is wearing out in that spot. ??

All I wanted is: 1) The second row of buttons to be there in FordPass so that I can open my frunk from outside the car. 2) My profile to have my picture in it and not one of Ford's silly icons. I guess both are too much to ask for. Now I can't even download a new PaaK. Is it because I tried to create over 80 PaaKs today? I dunno. I just want to go lift my leg on someone. ??

Heh, I can’t do that. I can’t download a PaaK in order to have PaaK fail. I have to use the physical key. And I still don’t have the second row of buttons in the FP app or my picture in my profile in the car. ??
