Sorry if this has been mentioned already in this thread (but there are one hell of a lot of posts to go through) but where in the FordPass App is the ‘Frunk’ button?

FordPass App using my good old faithful iPhone 7 works extremely well. Maybe the App is designed to work with older phones ?
In the UK there ISN'T the functionality of a "frunk" button on the app

I opened the Ford pass app on the mach e screen and found this. Come on Ford - last I checked this thing runs on electrons!

The European key has a frunk lid button. The North American key does not (presumably because we get PaaK and the European cars do not). ?‍♂?
Unfortunatelly there’s no point in having the frunk button on the fob because it doesn’t do anything…

In the UK there ISN'T the functionality of a "frunk" button on the app
There are several of us in the US who don’t have that functionality either.

Yes, I am current on the app, iOS, even the phone is pretty new. Happy for you that PaaK is working for you. For many others, it's not.

I hope Ford, or at least some of their leadership realize that with electric vehicles, the software is critical to the customer experience. And, this experience with this version of FordPass is not good. I'm annoyed as are others. I'm concerned that it's not being improved.

I want to give an analogy. My wife and I recently drove back from Los Angeles to Denver. We stopped at a few places to eat and a few gas stations to fill up. Just a small amount of effort makes a huge difference in how the customers perceive the place. Ford should be listening and finding some knowledgeable people (there are plenty here, and Ford has a presence here) and start talking to them and improve the software, the experience, and the perception. THey need to start with something.

I’ve been saying this for 6 months now.
I’ve spent countless hours on the phone with FordPass and still have recurring issues. This was NOT one of Ford’s Better Ideas!!!
If Apple of Google released a product with this many issues. ( way toooo many to list) their stock would sink like the Titanic. There are plenty of software engieers that could easily redesign this app if Ford would just acknowledge the problem
They are cramming too much into the PAAK app without even getting the basics right
Just do it right the first time!

You probably didn't have a trunk button either, did you? It makes sense - they work over bluetooth connection, and it is getting set up with PaaK.

After over two months of not hearing anything I finally got a call back from a FordPass agent yesterday. More confirmation of my problem through screen shots. More deleting/reinstalling PaaK. More doing the same routines over and over and over again that I have already done. No change in behavior other than somehow my FP app wouldn't create a new PaaK after a couple of tries. I had to delete and reinstall the app on my phone in order to get back to where I was before the phone call. ??

I was successfully able to create a second FordPass account using a throw-away email account that only had alphabetic characters back in February (you know, back when I had a living dog). I could not successfully create a new PaaK using that account. It kept trying to create one but failed upon time out. ???

I got a call from a FordPass agent today. He had me do a PaaK reset and then I was able to create a PaaK in the new account. The new account’s PaaK works. I now have the second row of buttons. ??

I tried to find out if Ford could offer some sort of recompense for the cab ride I was forced to take in December when the FP agent told me to delete my PaaK even though I told him that my physical key was at home but I wasn’t. I was told that there “is no program” for that. The Customer Relations agent then also told me that I must carry the physical key at all times, even when I am using the app to control the car. Really, @Ford Motor Company ? ???

I was told that I would be notified when they fix the non-alpha email account bug. Not holding my breath. Unfortunately, all of my FP Rewards Points are attached to my email account that has hyphens in it. So now I have to carry 2 FP accounts and check two email accounts until this is all sorted. I know, first-world problems. ???.

My response would have been, “can I get the executive customer relations contact info?”

I did not know that all alpha characters email would not work. Interesting
