Hello,

I am in the debate between Premium and CA Route 1, It's nice to have the sound system and Led but not worth spending the $2k for me and lose range on top of that, so curious how come I don't see CA Route-1 photos? anything else I am missing?
If you have CA RT1 do you mind posting some pics?

Thanks.

If I'm remembering right, the car rt 1 didn't have an AWD version in 21, which was important to me (in addition to the other things you mentioned). I'm also not sure if the 21 can rt1s came w the bluecruise equipment package - someone on here will probably know.

Was considering one but the lack of heated seats and steering wheel was a deal killer. I was shopping for vehicles on the lot, not special order.

Of the three colors, you could only get CA rt1 in Rapid Red this year. Cyber Orange was exclusive to GT. Grabber Blue was only available for GT or First Edition.

I chose the CA RT 1 because I wanted the most range and didn't prioritize the sound system, heated seats, heated steering wheel, and the auto-liftgate. Having had the CA RT 1 for over 5 months, I'm still very happy with my choice. Drives great and I never worry about range. 2022 models have the heated seats and steering wheel standard so those are no longer issues. Even so, I don't miss those much. I feel I can run the heat a bunch because if the larger battery. The sound is completely fine. That leaves the liftgate. Can't lie, wouldn't mind it, especially for a car that cost this much but not a deal breaker.

I live in SoCal so I don't care about AWD but my build is AWD since it's faster.

Strange, my current RT-1 build shoes heated steering wheel and seats.

Are you sure? I can get any of these colors right now, maybe this was just like the Bronco? when I ordered mine I got Cyber Orange and was only available Outerbanks+, 2022 it's available on all trims.

I have the Route 1 and enjoy it. After owning it for a while now there are still a lot of things that really bug me with the car, but overall I enjoy it, and the issues I have would be on any trim level anyways.

Living in San Diego I did not care about the heated seats/wheel and the auto tailgate is more of a hazard than good if you park in a garage. I do wish I had the LED just because it looks cool, and the audio system really could use some work. Both things I could technically correct after market.

Def correct on the colors - grabber blue and cyber orange were definitely only for the GTs for the 21 model year. That was changed for 22. My rapid red would probably be cyber orange if I had the choice.

Same on heated seats / wheels. That was not available for 21 ca rt1s but is now for 22s

AWD was another thing not available for 21 CA RT1s, but it is now

Ford made a lot of changes to the car rt 1 trims for 22

Jealous of San Diego!

Nice car, good improvements in 2022 over 2021, I guess it makes sense why not a lot of people got it here, due to the lack of certain features that became available in 2022, how is the lights? is it weaker than Premium to your knowledge or just the 3 extra led lines? does the pony on the hood illuminate? and to your knowledge, are those wheel caps or the wheels looks like this?

Well it cannot be corrected for the price of $2300, I am sure both will cost more, to me it's not just cost, it's basically paying more money and lose range, the limitation of all these cars on lots is annoying, I can't make my mind, with all that being said, do you hang around Encinitas? I've chatted with a guy with CA RT-1 same color as your in the traffic light there once when I was picking up my Bronco.

Umm I dunno... There is a post on here about installing a sub in your car. There is a shop up in Kearny Mesa that quoted me $1,100 for the install of the 10" version. The lighting, while it would not be tied into the info center, you could EASILY do a better looking job than factory for under $100 bucks.

And nope, I don't go that far north, I mostly stick south of the 52.

Picture of the car after I had the windows tinted, hands down the best thing I've done so far to the car.

In hindsight, I'd have purchased the CA Rt1. Night visibility was one of my top criteria, and reading about how projector LEDs were "superior" in terms of safety, I decided to go with the Premium SR. Now, after driving the Premium for a few weeks, I think the bigger battery and 18-inch wheels (just for the smoother ride) on the CA Rt1 would have been a better tradeoff for ~$2.5K more. Don't really care for the other Premium features.

If the CalRt1 came with the light space grey seats I would have purchased for sure. The interior color was number one on my list, the rest are nice to have but the seat color was mandatory...

Hello, I purchased the Mach E CA RT 1 iconic silver, I got it mid November. I chose this one because of the range. Radio sounds loud enough for me, It has intelligent cruise control, glass roof, auto hold, one pedal drive etc and the pony lights.
