100% agree. Everyone should have it. I also wish it had a quantitative readout in kW instead of just a bar. That was one thing I liked a lot about my old Volt. I could change AC or heat settings and directly see exactly how much power output changed.
Seems pretty easy to do with an update but what do I know.

This would be a good candidate to re-use as a meter to display how fast your car is charging whenever it's plugged in, too. Just put the number on the "green" side!

I don't think that the battery with the down arrow means that battery is reduced to cold weather. I believe that the battery with the down arrow along with the number simply means that you have (approximately) that number of miles until the battery is depleted. I have seen that same icon in the middle of gorgeous 65 degree fall days when no AC/Heat, etc. is being used. The only icon there that I have never seen before is the snowflake in the road that is in yellow.
Agree. The battery with the down arrow appears when a destination is set in the navigation. It shows estimated distance to empty. It is there to differentiate between distance to destination (which shows the finish line flag).

When no destination is set then the battery icon with down arrow dissappears.

What is this icon below the clock and next to the temperature? I guess something related to navigation?

Only $70k vehicles should get a speedometer or Range display
It was not my intention to post something controversial. My apologies if my post offended anyone.

I wasn't offended I was just confused why it was implied something so simple should be tiered off like that. The GT is sick, I plan to maybe upgrade to one down the line, but live regen display should be in all vehicles.

I agree, but the regen feature on the GT could be better. A numerical value would have more value. As far as the power bar, power restriction being shown via the grey bar is helpful, but I think a numerical value would be better here as well. I would rather know I have 90% instead of a couple of dinky grey bars.

Yeah, it's all there, just needs to be displayed better in software. Oh the OTAs that could fix this!

Charged my battery to 90% last night and it ended up with 177 miles. Doing the math, at 100% it would have been at 197 miles which is a 37% loss of distance on my LR battery. Anyone else seeing this much degradation?--garaged all night--25-35 degrees outside.
