I notice there's now a PCM update in FDRS - perhaps that's the critter.

The PCM has been there since at least last Thursday.

Not for me. I applied the OBCC update yesterday, and the PCM update wasn’t there. But it’s there today.

Well if the pattern follows past updates, it will appear in FDRS when it starts rolling out to non-EA plebeians. Then we can see what this is really for

It has always been on Job 1 cars too. The Horn/Lights button has been in the release notes of several updates now. I think it‘s just code for Ford not saying what’s really in the update.

I had one in January as well, but the next one didn’t pop up for my car in FDRS until today.

No doubt. I’m sure somebody at Ford asked what they should put in the release notes and was told to just throw in another “Horn and Lights”.

I have a Job 1 car from March. I've always had the button, never pressed it to see if it works though.

I've had that button for a year as well. It works. I use it from time to time.
Must be another phantom update....

This one was a rollercoaster... I was sure this was a duplicate notification of 2.3.0, so I ignored it. I then decided to check it out, and was excited it was a new update! Then I was confused when it was for a function that I've always had?
