I'm currently having issues charging my car at anything higher than 32A with my charpoint homeflex that is wired on a 60A circuit and used to be able to charge at the full 48A. I had it at the dealer for the glass recall and software updates and it still will not charge any higher than 32A without erroring out after 10 minutes or so.

If anyone in the area has a higher power EVSE I would love to be able to eliminate my EVSE as the issue by test charging on someone elses. Every public level 2 charger I can find is only 32A. If you know of a public charger that can go higher than 32A that would also be much appreciated.

Check your chargepoint app settings to see if the breaker size says 60A.
I've tried setting it to both 50A and 60A and, while it will start charging for about 20 mins or so, it will then instantly drop off to 0. The only way I can get it to charge continuously is to set it at 40A so it will charge at 32A. No error messages from chargepoint, but orange ring on charge port.

Faults
If the front LED status light turns red, a fault has been detected and you will not be able to charge your car. Most faults can be cleared by a simple unplug and plug in of the charging connector to your car. Try the first step and then the next one if the previous one doesn’t clear the fault: 1. Unplug and plug in the J1772 connector 2. Go to settings on the mobile app and reboot the station 3. Flip the breaker

If you continue to have problems, call ChargePoint customer service at 1-888-758-4389

That sounds like it is an issue with the onboard charger in the car, maybe overheating. I would take it to the dealer to see if they can read any fault codes.

Just as a reference, I had the 21P22 update done on my car, along with the glass recalls about a month ago, and have not seen any charging issues. I run mine at 40A with a 50A breaker (ChargePoint).

Hmm...no red fault light ever seen on the EVSE, so I'm assuming this must be onboard charger related.

I'm leaning toward onboard charger as well. I was having this issue before the update and recall and hoping it would solve the issue. The dealer said they didn't see any fault codes stored which is odd.
