Trigger (06205) is now 13 months old with 10,200 miles. Last Tuesday morning the start-up the sounds all changed to the warning sounds when the back hatch is opened. That's all there is including parking warnings. And the audio is non-functioning for everything. Voice commands also are non-functioning. Called Ford and they walked me through two different resets which did nothing and told me to go to the dealer. It's been there now three days and they are as clueless as can be.
I also have been getting a seatbelt warning for the rear middle when there's no one there but the other two seats are occupied.
Since the last major update, bluetooth now has a new connection name (Mustang06205) as well as the Mustang Mach-E that has been there all along. About 10% of the time it won't connect and can't decide which to choose.
And any outside aroma comes into the cabin. I asked to have the cabin filtration checked and their solution was to put in on recirculate.
I love the car but service from the dealer (Encinitas Ford) is pathetic. The dealer doesn't seem to know any more than I do and of course loan cars aren't available and rentals aren't customer focused either.

Anyone else experiencing similar problems with their car and/or dealers???

Hi there, Jim! Could you please send us a private message with your VIN? I would like to look into these audio and warning concerns for you on my end. Thanks!

I ran into that last X-Mas when visiting LA. I was able to work around it by resetting the 12V battery (disconnect/reconnect). When I got home I eventually went to the dealer for the windshield recall. I asked them to also check the battery. Turns out the battery was faulty and needed to be replaced. Didn't take 3 days.

So hard to say without seeing diagnostic codes, but a few general things.

The main audio system handles almost all of the sounds the car makes. If there's a problem with it, the instrument panel screen can make tinny backup sounds instead.

Everything you mentioned except for the seatbelts is related to the Sync system in some way. So that could've had a hardware failure.

Also these cars are known to do WEIRD stuff if the 12v battery is weak...

Hopefully that's a starting point for you

Have you had 21P22 applied? The loss of audio was a known issue that was fixed in the DSP update.

Similar problem here. Very frustrating. Going back to shop, but they are blaming the 12V battery fault, and no way to get a 12V battery.

Hi Nate! This doesn't sound like an experience we want you to have with your Mach-E. Could you please send us a PM with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer? I'd like to see how I can assist you on my end.
