I agree 100%. And the highway test should be at 75 mph. They can do it under "ideal" conditions if they want, like 70 F and no rain, but we should know the 75 mph range when looking at buying a BEV. That would help a lot of new BEV owners from getting buyer's remorse.A range would be good. But I think what would be more helpful is just show the highway range. I don't need a city range or a combined range. Those don't matter to me. There's no way I'll ever burn through the city range in one day before putting it on the charger at home. But highway range, that's what I need to know. Or just like MPG for an ice car gives city/hwy/combined, perhaps EVs should have the same.
