On one hand it's the trivial mismatch between the JSON and the car's display. There is also my lingering uncertainty everything was actually updated right.

The important part of the bad news is I still don't have BlueCruise.

Just got the notice from ford pass that Blue Cruise feature is now active. I had just talked to the service rep at the dealer and she said it likely won't be done updating until tomorrow (Dropped it off at the dealer at 8am)

My dealer said the software installed fine. They’re keeping it another day because they’ve determine that the passenger side CV joints are also bad. So they’re replacing those as well. I’m assuming I don’t actually have BlueCruise though because I haven’t received notification like the one above and there is nothing in my connected services. The rep claimed the tech took it out for a drive and it was active but I’m worried that it’s the same thing as others have experienced where they mistake lane centering as BlueCruise. Will report back tomorrow hopefully.

Just received 2.5.3... again had to pull it out of the garage.

Does anyone know why?

Does it have to connect to the Ford servers via the AT&T network to initiate the update?

Have not had the chance to try BC yet.

Went from 2.1 to 2.3 to 2.4.1 in the last 24 hours. It's really happening! ?

2021 Job 1. Early Access member. Got my TSB 22-2117 work done about a month or so ago. Was stuck at 1.6 until about 2 weeks ago.

Updates to 2.5.3 yesterday. Oddly enough, Sync still doesn’t say that I have BlueCruise

Wait - what? Your CV joints are “bad”? How can this be? The oldest Mustang Mach Es have only been on the road for a bit over a year!

I don't know about y'all, but I recently went into "connected services" online and it does blue cruise is "coming soon". I know it previously showed that but then completely disappeared.

Is the fact that it's back a harbinger of things to come?

Also, super good news, it says it's expected 3rd quarter of 2021 still, so maybe they've unlocked the secrets of time travel...

There's been no official statement that I'm aware of, but there's been speculation that driving the car triggers it to talk to the Ford back-end, if you're not doing scheduled updates... at least, I believe that's where the speculation has landed.

Wait - what? Your CV joints are “bad”? How can this be? The oldest Mustang Mach Es have only been on the road for a bit over a year!

There is a whole thread about how CV joints and half axles need replacing. Weird clicking noise in the wheel wells, figured I should get it taken care of while under warranty!
