She does wish the storage under the armrest was deeper, larger.
That is actually the most disappointing thing about the car. In the summer of 2020 Ford had a series of webinars with engineers, designers, etc and one of the things they highlighted was the design of the center console. They went out of their way to point out that there was ample room for a medium-sized purse under the tray between the footwells, and mentioned how large the compartment was under the armrest. They even showed clips of a focus group and foam mockups of different designs that they tried shoving purses and other items into

I foolishly blabbed that to my wife, so had egg on my face when we saw the actual size of those 2 compartments.

Two woman household here and we love our MME GTPE. We can also talk all day about the cool gadgets and what we have done to update the house and solar panels to drop the cost of charging it even more, but the OP wanted to hear about reliability.

Running around town to do shopping it is great. I use it for everything even though we have two ICE vehicles that are very fun to drive. Plenty of room, both in the frunk and the rear, for groceries or a new TV for the bedroom.

Longer trips to the beach, it is really nice. You can seat four and a couple of ice chests without an issue at all.

Family vacation went incredibly well. About 2K miles and I did a write-up about it on here. Some issues, but none that made us regret buying the car. Heck, we are looking at a different EV to park next to the MME GTPE in the garage.

Projects? Large piece of wood and some other things to do some work around the house fit without issue. Way more room than what i had in my Camaro.

Must have been male single engineers. Most women can survive a week with her purse only.

You ladies are awesome. Sounds like you get things done. Woman power, hear me roar! I need to find your write up. I need to work on my skills??‍♀. Husband sent me to Lowe’s for a piece of plywood. I was there almost 1 1/2 hr and called him 3 times trying to find it. He never sent me again?

Future female owner here (estimated deliver date 4/20-4/26). It’s my first EV too. I wouldn’t say I’m particularly tech savvy but I believe there is usually an answer to be found on google or with a YouTube video. Gotta say that all the negative posts in the forum have given me some anxiety but I choose to stay positive. I did test drive one last summer, but the salesman rode with us and made it an uncomfortable experience. I’m really looking forward to getting behind the wheel again and just enjoying it. I don’t really care how long it takes 0-60, or how skinny the tires are. Yeah it might seem bouncy to some, but our other vehicle is an F350 so I think it will be fine. Oh and yeah, I’m reading the owner’s manual in another window?.

Lowes is one of my favorite stores! I’m 3 years into about 10 years of home renovation projects and I love deals! I try to only buy things at Lowes that are over 50% off. Although sometimes I buy tools that I don’t even know what they are, but it was 75% off! It‘s kinda a sickness, but all the men in my life love it! ?

I would love to find one to test drive. I think it’s because it will be my first EV. I’m trying to soak up as much knowledge as I can but I think I’m overthinking it.
I ordered mine before I ever drove one. When a used one showed up at my dealer I took a test drive and I realized I had made the right desision.!

I must carry a small purse. It sits in the spot right next to my phone on the wireless charger. If I wasn’t so damn short I’d put it under the wireless phone charger. Still trying to figure out what to use that space for since my seat is forward and it’s not super easy to reach into.
I did buy the center console organizer which I highly recommend especially for women. I love that it keeps everything organized and has hidden storage below.

Girl, bye. That store is evil. My husband spends tons of money there. Lol

Here you go.

My wife does most of the big project stuff around the house and we tend to go together. However, on occasion I have been sent on my own and I ask a ton of questions before heading out in order to not screw anything up. I still usually text her while at the store. LOL

You don't even have to pair your phone or buy anything beyond having a 240 volt outlet wired by an electrician.
Don't even need that, depending on your commute. I've gotten by with a standard 120 for a few months without issue (although eventually I'll get around to adding 240 for just-in-case situations).

I drive 50-75 miles a day/ 5 days a week. I want to sit at around 80-90% starting out every morning. Maybe I will get comfortable with less with longer ownership.

That's the thing - the designer was a woman, and she's the one that talked about it. In the end her design might have been overridden by a single male engineer, but I don't know.

So your plan worked!

I have one of those skinny kleenex boxes with a side opening in mine, and that barely fits.

Sure, under the right circumstances that can work. However, just because you CAN do something it doesn't mean you SHOULD do that thing :). If you get in a situation where you need to fill up completely for a trip you'll regret not having a 240V line

Yeah, definitely get a 240V charger connection.
