I drive 50-75 miles a day/ 5 days a week. I want to sit at around 80-90% starting out every morning. Maybe I will get comfortable with less with longer ownership.
You'll want 240 for that (Unless you want to be stuck at home all weekend charging...)
120 would be enough to get about 50 miles/day, presuming you can charge for 12 hours, and ignoring charging losses (which are not insignificant) and battery/cabin conditioning losses (which could add up depending on climate). Real world more like 36 miles/day.

120 works for me, because I average 20 mpd (I plug in about every other day).

Ladies,
I need your perspective on ownership of the MME. I see the menfolks posting all kinds of technical data. All kinds of gadgets they use and problems I would have no idea where to even start with troubleshooting.??‍♀
Basically, I want a reliable car. Get up, go to work, shop, come home, and plug in. Rinse and repeat. I’m getting nervous that I may not have enough knowledge to drive this thing. How do you ladies feel?
My first was a Leaf, and was terrified, didn't know anything about anything, just knew I wanted an electric car, didn't know anything about how to charge, where to find chargers. I got in touch with Juice werks , now ENEL and asked 1000 questions, all ev owners are real welcoming. there was a lot of, you just learned to ride a bike, the day you moved to a new neighborhood, get out, and explore. since you're on here, ask LOTS of questions, do not be afraid to be redundant. specially with the intimidation of, well there's gas stations everywhere, how/ where do I charge. that is a bold step starting with the MACH E, I personally think your awsome and brave on the level of Neil Armstrong... DO NOT BE AFRAID TO ASK FOR HELP, we all started there, and we'll get you home.

110v will get you just under 3 miles per hour in summer driving.

Charging to 90% overnight, with a 240v outlet, is what most people would do if they drive 60 miles a day.

I am this way most of the time! Other times, I'll be driving along like a normal person and see my scores in the high 90% range, and say to myself, "well, we can't have that." Do a quick check of my surroundings, then floor it, then let the car get back down to normal law abiding citizen speeds, and see my acceleration drop below 90%, feel accomplished then continue on my drive.

I'm a bad influence, don't be like me! ?

If you're used to tablets, computers, smart phones, it's pretty much just a car with a tablet where you change settings. But you don't even need to use the tablet for everyday driving. If you don't feel like deep diving, you don't need to either.

There's been a couple of times where I had to look up some things, but it's been only minor things, I think. I've had computer struggles worse than that. Youtube usually have simple videoes for things you might never have done, like charging at charging stations.

I wouldn't focus too much on being a woman. The important thing is willingness to learn. What you end up knowing in life in general is mostly limited by how much time and energy you're willing to invest in learning, plus confidence in your ability to learn, not gender.

I’m not a woman, but I can confirm that:
  1. there is ample storage for purses under the console,
  2. cup holders are generally adequate but may have difficulty holding Starbucks Venti+ sizes,
  3. the vanity mirrors work well for applying lipstick and mascara while driving (but BlueCruise will warn if you divert those pretty eyes for more than 7 seconds),
  4. the infotainment screen works well with long fingernails, and
  5. pumping gas is not an issue.
If you have any other questions to which you would like mildly offensive answers, just ask! :)

My wife has put over 23K miles on her Mach-E already (13 months)
We took it in for the 10K tire rotation, and the windshield/pano roof recall.
She/We have taken it on long drives to other states.
Used Electrify America charge stations while traveling.
Charges at home, over night, 95% time. We have Solar too.

I don't know shit about cars. I just like that this was electric, looked nice, and was large enough to haul my dogs around. I love it. I drive to work, shop, and plug in, Repeat. I haven't had a problem with mine at all. I did put some stripes on it and had my calipers painted purple. Had to make it pretty. haha. I love the one pedal drive. I play a game with myself to see how long I can go without touching the brake....it's a long time. I think my record is like 4 days, then some jerk will pull in front and I gotta touch it. haha. It's a super fun car. Get lots of looks.

LOL I wasn't going to respond in this thread because I found it cringey BUT one of the first things that excited me was the place to put a small purse. Also the copilot/cruise control thing is great for applying lipstick in morning traffic. (I don't have Bluecruise yet)

The women on this forum have been awesome… so have most of the men. So far, it’s been a great community and I’m thankful for all of you. Even @RickMachE ?

Some things I don’t want to learn honestly. The gadgets that measure this or that. I will try to learn the basics. If something funky happens, I will ask the geeks on the forum for suggestions. It’s not about me being a woman, mainly it’s about not caring about the deep dive into some things that I see up here. I try to ignore it, but I get sucked in ?. Now I just glance at the subject matter, if it’s too much, I’m out. Every thread is not for me?

1. Are you talking coin purse, or everyday purse (deep with several compartments with wallet inside)?
2. Venti is a must and best value, so I may need to reconsider my car choice.
3. Are there lights above the vanity mirror or on the side? Best lighting for application is very important.
4. Natural or acrylic?
5. Glad there are no issues, pumps are pumps right?

Some of us are neither men nor women. Canine here. ??

I definitely don’t know purses. Hair spray, yes. Purses no. ??
