Finally got the delay email. Only had 2ish more days in my window.

I guess the car got stuck in KC. Maybe someone at Ford saw that one of our group had a chance to get the car in April before more March builds were shipped, LOL.

Isn’t that when they’ve paired up cargo with a trucker? Perhaps between trains or to dealer?

VEHICLE STATUS
Your vehicle may be in one of the following statuses:

• ASN
• On Hold
• Picked
• Paired
• Dispatched
• Delivered

A vehicle may be "On Hold" for many different reasons, but I am not able to determine what specifically.

Your vehicle will be picked and paired once the shipping provider readies your vehicle for transport. Once the status enteres dispatched, your vehicle is being picked up and in transit at which point the next status will be delivered.

You could be a lucky one! There were some folks that slipped through the chip delay. You might sneak through the shipping delay!

But yeah it feels like this new delay is almost a given. If I look on the bright side its still earlier than the very first delay I had to 5/31.

From what happened with mine, paired seems to mean that it has been set up for the transport between the train that it arrived on at KC to whatever area it goes to for loading on to whatever train takes it to the next destination. So after paired it will quickly go to dispatched and delivered but that just means that it’s now waiting to leave KC. And unfortunately Ordertrack doesn’t seem to update with that. Ordertrack has been on delivered in KC for a week and a half for me now.

I like Old Fashioned‘s answer better but my (mis)understanding is that it means the car has been paired with a means of transport. Only step after paired is delivered.

Yes. But my car is only going 200 miles to the dealer. I do not think it goes by train. The destination listed is the town where the dealer is located.
