I have the exact same model ordered, also with a 10/17 build date. Looks like we'll be in the last production run of 2022s.

Woohoo! My dealer just called and said my Mach E is scheduled for the 10/17/22 build week (ordered 4/8/22). It's a Star White RWD Select with the Comfort/Technology package. He's going to text me the VIN # momentarily.

When I was talking with my salesman he said Ford just cancelled one of his other customer's Mach-E orders, and they (even Ford) couldn't explain why. That's disturbing

Update: I never heard back from my dealer today with the VIN #, so I called Ford to get it. The person was very friendly & helpful, and gave me my #. She also said the estimated time of arrival was 11/8/2022. I said, yeah, we know how that goes, and she chuckled.

Both my son and I got our build date of 10/17. Neither of us have received VIN yet though. Both the basic selects with the tech package. Dark Matter Grey.

I don't see how you can have a build date and no VIN. I would ask the dealership to look into that.
