Glad to hear that so many people are finally getting their MMEs! Today I got an email from Ford that said my delivery date had been delayed by 2 weeks so that it is now May 10 to 16. If it comes within that time frame I will be happy!

Took delivery of my car yesterday evening! Was so busy with it I forgot to post! Dealer honored the $2000 price protection, no markup, and gave me the incentives at time of purchase (Ford Options 2.70% APR $1000 cash) plus the $750 MY22 private offer. Got it for exactly the price I wanted to pay, got lucky there.

FYI I was able to successfully enable the handsfree liftgate with FORScan, works great. Also got really lucky there. So just the front windows being tempered vs. laminated compared to 2021 MY. Noise really isn't that bad, on the freeway wind noise from glass roof is what I primarily hear.

Sharkfin plastic and gate lip arrived scratched due to plastic film rubbing on it during transport (came loose and was flapping in the wind), inspect that area carefully. Had one minor scratch on the rear fender I elected to leave alone.

Car also has a weird thump felt in the driver's floor going over some bumps, that may require further investigation. Ride somewhat bouncy as expected. I noticed the rear springs are a lot softer than the front springs, I can hardly get the front to compress. I get about 1.5 cycles out of the rear rebound, so needs a little more damping. Mechanical brakes are also pretty rough, hopefully they smooth out from wear over the next few days or else it's going back for the brake TSB.

BlueCruise won't work yet because of the pending maps update, due to Ford servers being messed up right now I asked that they didn't try to do any software updates. Lane centering also doesn't work for the same reason. Hopefully I get another OTA push in the next few days, otherwise I will update the GWM manually with FDRS.

My car came directly from Kansas City via Palsapp. Once it says dispatched the truck is on the way. In my case it arrived the next day. If you live outside of trucking range of Kansas City, you'll have to wait longer for the car to be put on another train east or west. Palsapp will reflect the vehicle being transferred via truck to the next rail terminal unless the destination says your dealer.

Hang in there everyone else! It was a long 10 month wait for me.

Congrats! So since I’m in the Chicago area mine should probably be in trucking range also? ??

Contacted Ford chat today and they gave me BNSF railcar; they said it was still in KC. When I tried to track the railcar with the BNSF phone number, it says the railcar was in Chicago as of March 12. Does anyone know if the railcar number is unique to the vehicles being shipped (i.e. like a UPS shipping code that is unique for each package) or that the railcar number is static (i.e. it's like a license plate, cargo may be different but the railcar # remains the same). If the railcar number is static then it could explain why the tracker indicates that it's in Chicago (last delivery).

By the way, I'm out in the San Francisco area.

I believe railcar identifier is fixed to a specific railcar. In 2 weeks it may be 20 states away with Chevys on it.

Awesome picture. Really gives a good comparison of the sizes of the two vehicles. Does your ChargePoint cable reach all the way to the other side of the garage to charge the Mach-e when it's parked like in the picture?

Awesome picture. Really gives a good comparison of the sizes of the two vehicles. Does your ChargePoint cable reach all the way to the other side of the garage to charge the Mach-e when it's parked like in the picture?
Haven't tested it yet. I believe it does, but probably not very comfortably.

This is a great shot, showing that IF you don't yet have an EVSE, but planning on getting one, you need to think carefully about where in the garage to put it, as well as which EVSE to get if cord length matters. Moving afterwards can get costly.

We put ours in a spot that would reach all 3 bays. Because my truck is in the middle bay, and it pulls in all the way to the wall, that means that I ran the cord in front of it down low, and then out to the Mach-E. I put the charger in a 5 gallon bucket when not in use.

In this shot, it seems clear that to reach the Mach-E, you'd also have to open the garage door. In the dead of a Michigan winter in a snowstorm, that would not be ideal. Of course each vehicle may not need a nightly charge.

When we get a Lightning, if that comes to pass, I will likely add another JuiceBox 48 that will be on the same circuit. Why? ~$650 minus $500 utility company rebate = no brainer. That's if I decide not to spend the money for the bidirectional capability.

Nice!!! Still waiting for the call from the dealership. It should be close though because it looks like our cars were at the alliance railyard at the same time.

I've had some movement on ordertrack.app - I'm now paired, and the destination is my dealership. I'm about three hours north of the Missouri location. My question for this group is after movement to "paired" how long to arrive at the dealership?
