Mine has been in the railyard in Ayer (Massachusetts) waiting for transport to the dealer where it will need a Blue Cruise map update. I can almost reach out and touch it. Its all good since I'm getting my house painted this week so I could just imagine paint accidentally getting on it (at least that is what I tell myself).

I am out of town for the next few days, so I asked my wife to take the car to the detailer for me today so that they can get the PPF, ceramic coating and window tint applied while I am gone. She is not someone who is into the latest tech....likes to keep things simple, and she was very 'patient' with me through the long wait for my Mach E. So, I was interested to see how she liked driving the car. Called home tonight just to check in on some things and the conversation quickly got around to what it would be like if we both had electric vehicles 😁. She really loves how solid the car feels and how smooth it drives.

Congratulations on your new baby!
The smile says it all! ENJOY 😎

Will take delivery of my new Grabber Blue baby tomorrow afternoon. Spent the morning at the dealership looking it over and shootin’ the breeze with their technician for the Mach-E (who just happens to have an Ice White on order).

Don't hate me too much but I left the dealer in my 10/1/2021 order, 1/3/22 build week GT on 2/10/22 (Richmond, VA); regardless, I've been lurking in this thread continuously since then to quietly root for the rest of you. I have followed your story, and many more, and I'm happy to see the deliveries happening. Steve

Congrats!!!!

I think our cars were on the same train and same car carrier from MO to Muncie. My car is ready for pickup as of this morning...but I cannot get mine until Thursday :-(

Here is my history.

Ordered a 2021 GTPE on August 23, 2021 (with Blue Cruise).

On September 27th converted to a 2022 in the system, but formally notified on 10/1/2021 that the car would be a 2022 (with a $750 voucher to cover the difference).

October 21, scheduled for production week of December 20th on the website and I also got my VIN.

I recall that following week that the website said the production week would be December 27th (no e-mail).

On November 1, I received an e-mail from Ford that confirmed my production the week of 1/3/2022.

On December 24th, an e-mail from Ford that confirmed the production the week of 1/10/2022.

On 1/6/2022 I got my first view of my window sticker (dated 1/6/2022). Build group 3565, 51/300.

On 1/15 the car had 1004 modules in the module tracking page and unofficially was "produced" (less computer chips). The expected delivery window was March 5-11.

January 19th a new window sticker was generated.

January 20th the car "off site" on 1/20/2022 and the new delivery window was June 3-9, (a 90 day slip).

January 31st a new window sticker was generated.

Feb 7th a new window sticker was generated.

On Feb 16th I noticed my car now has 1812 modules and one with new programming while it was off site. A new window sticker was generated.

At some point my palsapp tracking number changed from what was originally assigned.

Feb 23rd a new window sticker was generated.

March 2nd a new window sticker was generated.

March 11th a new window sticker was generated.

On March 18th it was brought back from off-site, and it was “built” The new delivery window was 4/1-4/7 (that I knew was just not going to be possible). Also, on 3/18 it was “released” on Ramp 5E, Santa Rita, VL. A new window sticker was generated. At 5:46 P.M. I got an email from ford saying, “Your Vehicle has been built.” However, less than an hour later at 6:43 P.M. I got an e-mail from Ford saying, “We’re working hard to assemble your vehicle, but it’s going to take more time than expected to finish it.”

On March 21st, It was “in transit”. It was at location Santa Rit-but also listed as “Delay – Convoy Carrier” on Santa Rit. The new delivery window was May 2-8.

March 27th a new window sticker was generated.

On March 29th the car shipped via Convoy.

On March 30th the car was received at Ramp 5C, Envios, EM. Later that day it was moved to Ramp 5J, Lacheria, Cuap. EM.

April 4th a new window sticker was generated.

April 7th it shipped via rail car.

April 8th it was “Received” and “Arrived” at Junction Point, Lecheria, EM.

April 11th it was Received and “arrived” at Junction Point (Kansas City Southern Railway Co.) in Laredo Texas.

April 12th a new window sticker was generated.

April 19th a new window sticker was generated. I believe this is when it departed Laredo TX.

April 20th it arrived on KCS rail at Intermati, MO

April 26th it departed Intermati, MO via Jack Cooper in the morning and it was received about an hour later in Muncie, KS and loaded onto a Union Pacific Train car the same day. It departed from Muncie Kansas that afternoon. ETA in Mira Loma CA (distribution center) was estimated to be 5/3 (about 7 days from Kansas to Mira Loma CA). UP tracking gave that the estimated date of arrival, but not the location of the train car. A new window sticker was generated.

April 27th the new arrival date estimate was 5/4 at 11:45 A.M. (one day delay).

May 1, the new arrival date estimate was 5/6 at 1:45 P.M. (3-day slip (AKA a 10 day journey) from the original estimate).

May 6th The car arrived at 10:43 A.M. local time on and confirmed to be “Constructively placed” in industry (aka Mira Loma California receiving yard), waiting to be unloaded. It was unloaded at some point that day, or at least by Saturday afternoon as the train car was now empty and heading to Texas. However, at 5:04 P.M. I got a new delivery window of May 30-June 5th (a 28-day slip) on both the website and an e-mail from Ford. A new window sticker was generated.

May 8th I got the “Complete your Mustang Mach-E purchase” e-mail from ford.com and the website now has a check mark under shipped and is in final preparation.

May 9th a new window sticker was generated. I spoke with my salesperson, and he confirmed the car was there and getting prepared yesterday.

Although the car is now prepped and ready , the next window I have with the salesperson is to get the car on Thursday evening.

It will be 37 weeks, 2 days (261 days) from order to when the car is available for pick-up for my order at least (263 days from order to pick-up).

First time poster long time lurker. Premium AWD ER. 9/7 ordered, 5/7 arrival at dealer and just drove it home today! Loving it so far!

Dealer was great, got price protection, x-plan and all available incentives and interest rate on Ford Options. They also did all the updates and delivered it at 100% charge. Really couldn’t ask for a better experience.

Ordered 9/11/2021, delivered 5/6/2022 after a wait that included the mysterious KC plant hold and 2+ days at the train yard located 5 minutes from the dealer, and since I apparently picked the only dealer in a 100-mile radius that doesn't have late or Saturday hours...finally took it home yesterday afternoon.

Fairly painless dealer experience -- A Plan, no hard sell on extended warranty, no silly add-ons (sales guy asked before pickup if I wanted door edge guards or wheel locks, I said no thanks), except that they insisted that they couldn't take the price protection amount off my invoice. Annoying, but whatever, I can easily find who to raise hell with if the check doesn't come in ~45 days. I financed the whole thing with $0 down at 1.9% for 60 months through Ford Credit (0.9%/48 months was also offered).

Glad it's finally home and now trying not to talk myself into PPF! I put matte screen protectors on the screens immediately, they look great and I'm not used to the crisper naked screen so I don't even miss it.
