BlueCruise going out OTA to regular plebs (non-EA owners)!

I had taken my car to the dealer for 21G01, and it was not successful, no BC and no lane centering. Had not had an OTA since 2.3.0 in January. Today I got 2.8.2 and it told me I now have BC.

Well, it still does not work, nor does lane centering. Sync version is still indicating 415 which is what it was when the dealer gave me the car back.

I have the same issue, but no update since 2.1, took it back to the dealer and they couldn't figure it out. They told me they needed ford engineering to contact them and to call back in a month.

Ford engineering told me they found the issue last week. Waiting to hear back.

2.7.2 Queued! For anyone who has had this or the earlier 2.4.2, did it install if your car was charging? I know you can’t be DC charging, but Nahant about AC? At my install time the battery will probably still be charging. I’d leave it unplugged but I want the 12v battery to be topped off too.

I was surprised to see it queued today, I figured I’d have to wait a few days. Now I just have to hope it downloads and installs correctly. I’m a little nervous with it being my first vehicle inhibit update. I may back my car into the driveway in case it needs a tow.

2.7.2 installed! It notified me it was scheduled to install overnight at my set time. Grabbed my phone as soon as I woke up and saw the successful notification! All the things people said to expect happened, like 1 pedal being turned off, charging to 100%, and a few errant secure alert notifications.

One of the non-EA plebs here. I got 2.6.0 and 2.7.1 within the last 3 days. OTAs are finally going out to all Job 1 MMEs!

Still stuck with a failed 2.6.0 install from the other day. It doesn't appear like Ford has tried to re-install it yet.

Once you hit 2.8.2 BlueCruise should start working. The final update is 2.8.3.

Oh, I thought the expiration date meant that Ford would stop trying after that date. If it's actually the date that they will wait before trying again, that is good to know. Now I can stop checking the Ford dashboard all the time and wondering why it hasn't re-tried yet.
