Now that I know there are options, Monday fits my schedule better.

Just did. I was still tempted to go next week to NJ since my reservation in DE is almost a month away but since there's no test drive I'll wait. I may skip to a new one yet if they get one in the DC area, although I can hear the UDEL Creamery calling my name. Wilmington is tempting!

From talking with my salesperson: It sounded to me like they had to go digging for it.

When the prices dropped I called him and asked if he saw the e-mail. His response was: We get tons of e-mail from Ford daily--if you're not specifically looking for something you'll miss it.... "ah here it is...".

Thus it is possible your dealer simply hasn't looked through the haystack to find the needle... or they have anything with Mach-E and/or Bronco in the subject line marked as spam!?

My dealer in NJ has said the same thing. But from my perspective, they really are not interested in digging in to find information about cars they don't yet have to sell. Until it shows up on their lots, I think we will be more excited about the Mach E than they are.

Shoot!! My emotions just went all over the place! All American Ford - Paramus, NJ is my dealership! I went as fast as I could to register. And then I got my confirmation email and realized that's not where the event is.......the event is at All American Ford - Old Bridge, NJ, over an hour away. While I could probably sneak away from work to go to Paramus for a little bit, Old Bridge is a littler far.......

Although looks like @ChasingCoral is making a day out of it coming from Maryland!!

Fullerton Ford is a little closer, but still don't know if I could get away for that long!!

Yeah I don't think you're going to get a lot of sympathy with your situation, 90% of the country won't even have the option to see one.

I'm going to see a *real* Mach-E on Monday, 10/19 at a New Jersey dealer. Will post photos and first impression details after I see it and hear Ford Rep's spiel. Hope to be able to sit in it as well turn it on to see how electronics work. Driving it is off the menu so will have to wait on that....

No one has said they don't plan on coming to any southern states. The tour dates for northeastern states and California were announced first. When they started they only reached as far south as northern NJ, now they've added to the list and reach eastern PA and DE.

Yes, but the schedule is already pushing to the middle of november. If all goes according to what we think is the plan, we'll all be able to actually test drive sometime around the first week of december.

I think it has to do with a combination of the number of vehicles they have available and the amount of staff they want to travel. It’s beginning to seem like they’re targeting higher population density, higher income areas first. As fond as I am of FL, it’s a big state with just a few dense population areas, and while there are pockets of money, it’s tough to hit lots of them in one or two days (I’m sure the Ford people would love to loiter around Orlando for a week and hit Disney and Universal ?)

Yeah, that’s the only reason I can think of that they have included Vermont. It certainly isn’t because of the population.
