Approval to proceed with MP2 was granted yesterday, two days ahead of schedule per Jim Farley. Thanks to the tremendous efforts of the launch team.

*Doesn't mean production will start now, just the approval checkpoint was granted.

However, build date from @Marcel suggests switch to EU/UK models may come sooner than I thought:

Had a short peek in the Ford system at the dealer, fabrication date dec 7, delivery feb 27, even saw a chassis number???????

If the earlier EU build is true, that kills my hope for a mid winter delivery for my Premium 34,000 reservation number.

Yes, approval was given to go ahead. with MP2. They will be working this weekend also to ready.

So, my dealer just called me. The first of his demo units just arrived today and he said I can come see it on Saturday or Sunday. No test drives allowed though.

Photos to come shortly....

He also said he has a Bronco as well. My guess is the Mach E may not be a FCTP car but one of the pre-production units that are out there already. If it was an FCTP car, then I should be allowed to drive it.....I think.
I will try and get more info shortly....

I asked him what trim it was and he didnt even know. He said he was just so excited and started snapping a bunch of pics. Then the driver said he had to take off and the car would be back for the weekend. I dont blame him. I would hit the road too.....
I think the car is making rounds with all the dealers in town today and tomorrow. Then will be available for public viewing this weekend.

Just a guess at this point. He is sending me pics to my phone now....
