I'm in about the same position. Placed my order March 10, crickets since, and have a Kia lease up in September. Out of curiosity, what'd you order? I'm wondering if it's particular packages or batteries that are delayed longer than others. I'm waiting on a premium AWD extended battery.
Yeah same here premium awd ext. I heard that maybe they are having delays with the extended battery productions but still I think I have seen plenty Premium AWD Ext just get build dates..

There's a chip shortage affecting not only the auto industry (a $110 billion hit), but others as well. Battery cell production might not be affected until just before they install the magic box of science and wizardry to it.

The ripple effect will last a good while.

My wife and I waited patiently for 9 months for each of our children. But, we didn't have to turn in an old one when it's lease ran out, so I get it.
My wife had more patience waiting for the babies than she does waiting for this car! She blames me for selling her car way too early and leaving her car less! On top of that she hates riding in my Truck!! Lol

That says January 19th, not July
Lots of people are getting that, including me. I have the same build week as OP on the website, but 7/19 is what i was told by the dealer. There's a couple of threads on it in this sub-forum.

If kids were just a lease.....I get the joke and I have seen you post it a few times around. I get that my concern comes off as impatient. But, I hope you understand that its not impatience but rather the growing concern that we will be without a vehicle for some time while we wait for the MachE. Or we will have to make the decision to go with another car. Either way, it seems to me that we are the customer Ford is looking to attract and would be important to hit the mark with the timing or provide the customer with updates along the way so they stay in touch with that customer(maybe Ford depends on the dealer for that?) Either way time will tell I suppose.
I am in the same situation with trying to time a lease end. I’m thinking it will be worse not to have a vehicle and that the build estimates will take longer than what is on the website. I’m 36 weeks out from lease end and the site say 28+ weeks for a GT. My thought is to order soon. I can understand your frustration and concern.

Thanks, I’d seen that pop up as an issue (including for myself today) but didn’t know we could associate with the adjusted July date

The email I received from Ford stated 7/19. And I knew about the issue in Fords site that all dates have been showing January 2021.

That's very positive as the larger battery models have the highest demand and also longest wait times.
I'm actually surprised the build date is July 19, just 1. 5 months away. Some of us who got build dates in Feb had build dates 3.5 months out.
The good news is Ford has been able to hold the build dates to within a week or two (at least those who posted here).
Hold the line!

If you count people who ordered after the initial launch wave died out, the projected premium delivery times are not that far off what we experienced. From October 1 (start of production as just a semi-arbitrary date) through my delivery was 30 weeks. Offhand, I'd say demand is still strong and parts are still trickling in.

My build date came 12 weeks after order. Some waited much longer, a few much less. “Why the difference?”, is one of the great mysteries of life. Don’t blame the salesman. ?Ford? keeps them in the dark too.
I was notified of my build date on Thursday of the week that was 12 weeks from the date I ordered. Premium AWD ER
