Dear fellow Mach E drivers in Europe,

Our US model Mach Es unfortunately come with only two cargo hooks in the trunk, the two right on the door sill. We have the recessed space for the other two forward cargo hooks, but the indentations are blank.

Would any of you who has the chance to, kindly ask your local Mach E parts window for the Ford part number(s) for the forward cargo hook, and any invisible part(s) in the cargo hook assembly? ...and then either post on this forum under "Forward Cargo Hook Part Numbers" or pm me, as you choose?

I for one will be very grateful.

Thanks,

MCH

A picture would help, but if you talk about the forward hooks behind the rear seats on the internal sides of the wheel arches (see picture), they seem to be welded on the wheel arches and not available as spare parts. But that's what I can see without removing the trunk side trim.

Thank you Aulander. That is the exact part in question.

Perhaps your local Ford dealer's parts department could clarify this?

The US version has the dimple in the carpet, but no hook ring or hole in the carpet.

If this hook ring is indeed welded onto a frame bar, that resolves the question in a manner... however, in case it is bolted on, that would then lead to an individual part number and to a potential installation for do-it-yourself owners on this side of the Atlantic.

Much apprediate any further information!

I bought these as an afterthought but I wound up installing them. I put two at the front of the cargo (front of inner fender well near the seats), one in the middle and two in the small rear recessed cargo holders. All out of the way so they not too obvous and ugly. The fold down flat so they are out of the way and swivel up to allow for connection. No screws included so you have to buy them. So far, from my one time test installation of the cargo net, they seem to work.

Did you mount them onto the lift-out floor board?

I'm looking to replicate the European version of 4 x solidly anchored D rings inside the cargo compartment so that I can safely carry a spare wheel (the Modern Spare variety) and have this somewhat massive object strapped down to solid anchor points so it doesn't become an insider threat projectile in case of a mishap.

Aulander,

Thank you for confirming that these pieces are welded.

Did you eventually install your own hooks?
Yes. Yesterday. The DIY writeup is in the INTERIOR MODS section, under "SOLVED - cargo front anchor points".
