It’s really a personal choice taking or not but don’t forget to calculate all interests you will pay over your loan for this warranty and also check with state law protections…I still have time to cancel this extended warranty actually and think I might. I can't imagine needing to pay a 5% premium on the cost of the car to get years 4 through 6 covered for the cheap stuff. anything in here make you guys think twice about buying it? roughly $2900 or 43 a month for 72 months added to my loan
We don’t have lemon law in Canada but we have a super strong law protecting us on everything (not only cars) and it will goes over the basic warranty by manufacturers. Unfortunately, majority of consumers where I live are not aware of this automatic protection and continue to buy extra protections when no need.
But some warranties can be good to have like a lease protection to not pay extras when returning the car if there is some scratches…
So check with your consumer state laws, can save you money.
