I to had to go to two dealers. The first one has a body shop and is EV certified. But did not want to do it. Politely asked if we could take it to the sale dealer. After calling several times, and not getting return calls from the Body shop, Then calling the sales rep. Call returned and booked and waiting a month, we took it in for a three-day period (winter, outside glass company, and cure time). They had guaranteed a loaner, but on arrival, they said they didn't have any. Went out to the showroom and talked to the saleswomen that we had delt with. We then drove home with a loaner. Different managers in different Departments view things differently. Especially the Body shop. And some times they don't get along. This recall involved 4 different entities working together. Heard recently that the 15 year Body shop manager is now gone. High tech is changing the demands of the field.Make sure the dealer you are talking to has a body/collision shop
Was given an enterprise rental no questions asked too
Total number of Ford dealers vs EF certified Ford dealers bears this out, IMHO. Some folks just don't want to accept change
