It looked like the truck we saw headed this way had red, white, and blue cars.
Please be blue, please be blue, please be blue.... Although, Rapid Red is a nice color too

Wow. At Fullerton ford and there not 1, not 2 but three E’s.

Star White, Carbonized Gray and Shadow Black? It's hard to tell with that one in back by the building.

Oops. Not Gray but Infinite Blue. That makes sense from the truck photos.

Don't forget to keep photographing license plates. I'm still keeping up a list of Mustangs seen in the Wild (even in showroom corrals) at

I was at Fullerton Ford in Somerville, NJ today. Lots of folks there. Here are a bunch of photos. The car is very impressive - actually better than I thought! Clean lines, nice interior, plenty of room (not as much as my Nissan Murano but more than I expected for a smaller footprint and more than enough for my needs).

They had THREE there! Premiums in Black, Infinite Blue and Star White.

Frunk is about 36" across in back, about 24" across in front, about 16" deep (see photo). There are some 'bump outs' that will limit what you can store. Not huge, but nice.

Back trunk is about 40" wide and 32" deep with about 27" of clearance from deck to top of opening. There is also shallow storage underneath that holds the charger, etc. that offers a nominal, but nice amount of extra space.

Seating is very comfortable and adjustable. About 27" from ground to bottom of drivers seat when I had it raised to accommodate my height (I'm 5'8"). I was talking to others there and some folks that were in the 6 foot - 6'2" range felt comfortable in both back and front.

Sorry I couldn't get more measurements and photos, but it was pretty crowded.

Saved best for last...

Actually was able to take about a 10 minute (passenger) test drive. I t was waaay better than I expected. It rides really nice. The handling is great, really quiet and firm over bumps. Acceleration was ridiculous (and the driver said she was not even pushing it).

In short - it is an amazing vehicle for a ground-up first of its kind. I'm sold...

Now I am soooo jealous and kicking myself for not driving all the way up there today!

What a beautiful color!! So glad I stuck with IB. When I reserved back on last November 17, It had taken me all day to decide between any FE or Premium in IB. Wish I could have gone to Fullerton Ford today but only the birth of a grandchild could have taken precedence. ?
How did you like the light interior vs onyx?

Excellent info! Jealous you got to ride in one though.

Question: Are there Mach E experts there or is it just the people from the dealership to answer questions. I often find that when I obsess about a particular model, I end up knowing more about it than the people at the dealers

The light gray interior is closer to off-white than gray - looks great. There were Ford reps there that were well versed in the Mach-E. Two of them that I spoke to actually drove one of the Mach-E's there (one from Passaic County NJ and I think the other was from up further north (like around Boston? - not sure).

One thing that did concern me was the (gorgeous) panoramic glass roof. I asked the one rep who drove it a longer distance if the sun presented any problems (glare, heat, etc.). He said it did not and that they also did extensive testing out west (he might have mentioned places like Phoenix), where there is relentless sun and heat. He said the UV protection is excellent and the cabin did not heat up from the sun.

That's good because the glass roof is stunning!
