This is really the only quirk that regularly pops up when operating my vehicle. I will go into the climate control page on the display. I select Max A/C, then I bump the fan speed up to Max 7. Then I comment on what a hot day it is. I then realize the temperature setting is at HI Hot!? Has anyone else encountered this?

What I have found, doing the same, was when my finger accidentally presses the MAX DEF button next to the volume control.

I don't use max A/C on the MME, but in other cars it generally works like this:

When you do max A/C, the car is supposed to do max fan speed, "lowest" temp, etc. When you try and adjust the fan speed after hitting max A/C, it comes out of max A/C and goes back to what temp you had it set to previously. Maybe that's the issue you have?

I agree the operation should be select Max A/C, the Fan speed should automatically adjust to full speed, and the lowest temperature. I select Max A/C, and the fan speed stays at the lowest level. I then have to adjust it up to 7, and then have to adjust the temperature down. This has happened to me 5 times in exactly the same sequence

Wow, so odd. I'll have to try it out on my way home and see how it operates!

So I tested this for a bit. I changed my climate temp to "HI" and put it on fan speed 1. I then pressed "Max A/C" and it did as expected: set the temp to low and put fans at full speed. It did take about 3 seconds to kind of ramp up and all of that, so it wasn't instantly max speed, but that's also expected.

I then adjusted the fan speed manually to 7, or whatever the highest is, and it kept the temp low and even "Max A/C" stayed lit up. There was no change in fan speed, so it would appear the fans were at max speed.

Lastly, I toggled OFF "Max A/C" and that is when it went back to my previous settings: "HI" temp control and fan on 1.

I waited about 15 seconds in between adjustments to make sure the climate control was settled into the setting and lag wasn't playing a part or something weird.

There is an HVAC update out, maybe it fixes this bug you have? As yours seems to not work properly at all. I can see toggling the manual fan speed and it reverting out of max mode and to your previous temp, but "Max A/C" should definitely not need you to change the fan speed because it isn't at max.

Thanks for testing this out for me. I will try and be more patient in letting the Max A/C adjust with any lag that it induces. I have been remote starting the MME before leaving work for the day. It has definitely been helping with the hi cabin temps. Thanks again!
