Mach-E Specific Fob/Emblem

I noticed something last night. My husband has a 2021 Job 2, but only got one fob. He went back to the dealers and showed them the notice from Ford saying he should have received 2. They ordered a second one and programmed it.
However when I looked at the fobs I noticed that his original fob had the Mach-E horse on the back where as my job 1 fob and the second fob he got has the standard silver horse.

Anyone know the part number for the Mach-E specific back plate? It’s just the battery cover that’s different.

I have a 2021 Job 2, 11/2021 build date, and my fobs have the black horse. I type in the part numbers I can find and they pull up fobs with the silver horse, so I guess it is just random?

I’ll try looking up those parts under my car and his car. See if different things come up.

I think I figured it out, the last 2 letters of the part number are FA for the silver emblem and FB for the Mach-E emblem.

Bumping this thread up. Anyone know how to order a replacement key fob battery cover? I don’t want to replace the whole fob, but I’m wondering if I can just order the back battery cover with the Mach-E emblem.

Yeah it seems to be random who got the Mach-E key and who got the generic Mustang. I just had the dealer order me a second fob after the CSP expanded to Job 1s. I gave them the model number of the Mach-E key my husband has, so we’ll see which one I get when I go next week.

I’m fully expecting the chrome one, but we’ll see. The same guy that ordered the fob also called back later that day asking for my key code. I didn’t know what he meant, turns out he was trying to get the key cut right. I told him our cars done have keys, just order a blank.
So we’ll see. Either way I’m going to ask the parts department if I can just order the battery cover.
