8/15/22 Build Week Gang

I was happy to find only 10 miles on the odometer contradicting my ford pass which was claiming someone had been driving it daily and racked up over 600 miles. It drove home great. I didn't break too many laws yet since I was trying to get a feel for it. It drove UP the steep highway entrance ramp like it was driving down a steep entrance ramp.

Ok, something weird happened to my order and I'm seeing if it happened to anyone else.

Projected build date was 8/15, but modules populated slowly and wasn't actually built until 8/24. After that it spent 2 days moving to the Lecheria Cuap [5J] rail yard (thanks to @Vulnox for that info), where it seems to have fallen completely off the grid. Ordertrack.app gives me weird statuses, Ford chat/dealer just say its "awaiting shipping", but cannot provide any further details. Meanwhile 8/29 builds are already shipping. All of this and the delivery estimate is still 9/25-10/2, the same as it was when it was built.

Anyone else from our build week experiencing anything like this or just me?

Just found out this morning via email from ford to finalize my MME that I ordered. Called the dealer, they said it was delivered last night. They told me that my salesman, nor the sales manager was in today and they would not start the cleanup process on it till Monday the 12th. Good for me since my birthday is Tuesday. What a good Present. Mine was built 8/20.

I just got the email to “complete your Mustang Mach-E purchase”. The dealership closed an hour ago. Wonder if they will call me tomorrow? I can at least look at it tomorrow.

Mine shows a built date of 8/24 also. It sat in Mexico till the 30th, now it’s in Richard-Gebaur, MO as of 9/9. Vulnox mentioned earlier that sometimes a scan is missed. Hopefully that the case and it’s on it’s way.

For those that are getting the emails to complete their purchase, do you get to see the financing options available to you online? I am interested to hear if we are still able to get the rates or incentives that were available when we ordered vs today.

I started the process but didn’t get that far. I have a z-plan pin and after entering that, online still showed msrp and a $275 dealer fee that is not supposed to be there. I stopped at that point and will go to the dealer to finish. Hopefully today…

I may have "driven by my for dealer" yesterday looking to see if my car was there. I got very excited when I saw the transport truck out front empty... but couldn't see my car anywhere!

Dealer just texted that my car is in Atlanta (which I am just north of) and should be any day now! Anyone else with a build week of 8/15 from Georgia?

I'm in the Atlanta area, but my car was a part of the last batch of the build week. I'm still showing a delivery estimate of 9/19-9/25. I'm excited for you! Good luck!

I actually went to the dealership and looked at mine, it still had a lot of the plastic and other wraps/coverings on the seats, steering wheel etc. It was dirty as hell but still pretty to look at.

I did look online after i had the option to complete my sale and Ford was offering 3.9 and it did ask me if I had a x-plan already but after I saw the 3.9 interest rate i stopped the process to see what rate my credit union has to offer before I move forward. Can't pick it up till Monday or Tuesday anyway and my plan was to go through my CU first anyway so i will wait and see which one has the better rate.
