The external speaker accidentally disconnected somehow. It’s very complicated to get to so it’s nearly impossible to diagnose or fix really. Such a shame.

It's funny, I haven't had a comment yet about battery longevity. I've had insane discussions about how "electric isn't actually better for the environment". One of by friend's boyfriend's tried to say that his 94 Cummins diesel was about as environmentally friendly.

I believe it is true that there is more negative environmental impact when manufacturing a BEV vs a traditional ICE vehicle. The kicker is that the break-even point is about 20k miles - after which the BEV is much better for the environment. (I recently either read that or saw it on youtube, can't remember where so take it with a grain of salt).

ROFL I used to have the engine out of my Celica 3 or 4 times a year. My largest number of R&Rs on that was 8 in a year. There was always a need, usually it was “Just Because.” ??

I had a lady block my MME while I was trying to back up by standing behind the car one time who bgean yelling about the beeping hurt her ears and how it wasn't a mustang.

Please tell me you laid on the horn at that point until she moved!! Could have made her ears REALLY hurt. ? ?

Edited to add: This is why I really wish we could set our own movement noise... I'd totally do "Move B!tch" By Ludacris! I wanted that so badly when I was an EMT and people wouldn't get out of the way.

They should!! I was spending $120-150 a week in gas. I’m on the road a lot and needed a new car. It made sense for me. I’m sorry for your loss. Losing a parent is hard.

Sort of. I put a volume control on it so I can turn it off, or adjust the volume to whatever suites me at the time. But really I just leave it off.

I even have otherwise progressive friends who are constantly naysayers. They post some fallacy which I promptly squish, and then they move on to another. Change is hard. I get it. Even after the dealer came to an agreement with us almost exactly where we wanted to be on our MME purchase, I needed a few minutes to finally pull the trigger. So let's just keep spreading the good word and hope that barriers will continue to come down.

Never underestimate some peoples ignorance.

I actually told my lawyer friend that his ignorance has no bounds after he commented on the MME.
