I'm glad you found that spare to be a really good fit as I did as well.
Taking into account the overall height and the offset of the wheel, I can't actually imagine a better fit. Sorry about the mis-hap as you did your test fit. I do carry a couple of wheel chocks in ther car as well. And I'm glad that Modern Spare jack seems to work.

Thoughts what spare size is needed to fit on the standard GT? I can't find any detailed specs on the GT vs Premium brakes except the GT apparently require a 1 inch larger wheel to clear the calipers.
what was the verdict? Does the Range Rover spare fit a GT/GTPE? Specifically the front. We know it will fit the rear but who wants to swap 2 tires on the side of a road.

Maybe someone else here knows...I ended up ordering a CR1 a couple weeks after I posted that question.

If you can measure the outer radius (from hub center to perimeter of brake) of your brakes I can measure the tire that's annoyingly sitting in my trunk and see if there's a chance it will fit.

Thanks too all for this setup. I was able to pick up a Jaguar E-Pace spare tire from my local salvage yard for $60. I had a spare 3 ton bottle jack. It's compact enough to fit in with styrofoam molding (along with Ford's EV charger area). I've Googled how to secure the tire but I don't like any of their ideas, what are you guys doing to secure the spare tire?

I suspect some are doing what I am to secure my crate in back: Install the forward cargo area rings that are put into the non-North American cars. ??

I just have it laying in the trunk. It can't fit past the rear headrests so I figure it's fine. ?‍♂ It does go airborne over bumps thanks to our wonderful suspension.
