No Vehicle Connection - Battery level may not be accurate.

My wife just got this message when she was going out this morning.

The message dissapeared after hitting OK. Car seems to function normally.

Battery was charged to 90% last night with no issues popping up or anything. It shows 89% right now after driving barely a mile so, normal I think.

Has anyone got this message before? Anything I should look out for?

It’s just a CarPlay Maps EV routing error, I’ve been getting this intermittently with wireless CarPlay in maps as well, seems like a bug. If you end the route and restart it, it will be fine again.

Yep, I've also noticed that it will eventually get the data. Often times it will show an old number, and then in a few minutes it will get the actually battery level and adjust.

It's actually a combo. Ford has set up access for Apple / Google to get access to additional vehicle information directly from the car. So, we are experiencing, "newness" on both sides, New access via Sync, New API's, New developer integration. Maybe some finger pointing too..

Given that the display is CarPlay, it's 100% CarPlay's issue. Whether Ford is providing them access to accurate data (likely) or not, they're providing inaccurate information.
