My guess is that there's some funny business with driver history going on, which matches the explanation in the release notes.
I assume so. I almost never drive long distances. Most of my driving is little 5-10 mile trips.

Is it just me or is the way they write these OTA release notes super cringey? Like just tell us "updated range estimation calculation" and thats all we need. Not this weird as hell writing trying to be all happy and bubbly and cute/punny. Like just tell us what we need it's almost insulting like we're being treated like children. Maybe its just me.
Would you prefer fart jokes like Tesla release notes/features?

Reboot sync on every use? Seriously? I think I’ve manually rebooted Sync maybe 3 times in 22 months of ownership. I’d suggest taking your car to the dealer.
Or maybe they should be more patient with the software. Dealer isn’t gonna do anything helpful except a Master Reset.

Mine updated last night. Now I can only charge for about an hour and a half before there is a charging system fault and the service soon message. At almost 50K miles with no issues previously so the update is getting the blame for this one.
Hi there! Will you send us a message with your VIN and your local Ford dealer? I can look into things on my end.

That's a slippery slope, while, yes, we're early adopters, I don't think unfinished products should be normalized, especially when they cost $50k+. If we're patient and don't complain, chances are they won't fix those things and keep adding new unpolished features.

well I meant it more like their instant reaction is to do a sync screen reset when it might be their phone or it just might need to be reconnected. I also think people should be more resourceful, if you're on this forum, you already took a big step to figuring things out. And also like I said, the Dealer isn't gonna do anything special for stuff like this, especially with Sync issues.

Again, maybe for you. When I leave work, most days I have building plans, contracts, etc. and don't really want to lay those on the floor of our parking garage lol. I rarely ever have to double press the door button with my key. I don't use PaaK regularly.
? Pardon my ignorance! What is PaaK?

Mine charged to 100% (ignoring settings) after the first night following this update. Night 2 (last night) was back to normal. It followed my 85% charge rule at home. I had opted not to do anything (delete, readd, etc), so it appears to have fixed itself. It just took one cycle to go back to normal. Or it was all just a fluke and who knows.

Mainly just be patient. There is no way to force the car to update (outside of using diagnostic software). Ford pushes updates to cars and the car checks Andy time you drive. They may not have pushed anything past 3.5.4 for your car yet.
When did you get your car?

Me too, stopped it at 90% first night and second night all the way to 100%
Ignored the schedule as well.

After the 100% charge and fordpass update it snapped back to using the schedule/limit

I certainly did get a charge out of this one (to 100% while it's cold out, yay)

Apple iPhone program FTW ? there’s literally no excuse not to be in it (or Apple Card and 0% interest for 24 months accomplishes pretty much the same thing - just trade in the phone after 12 months, when the new phone is released and make a bit on the arbitrage ?)
Mine is. "There's nothing wrong with it." My phone idiosyncracies are "features". :)

There's really nothing to lure me to a 13 or 14 atm. We shall see what the 15 has in store for us come September or October. ?‍♂

In other news, my car got 3.6.2 last night. And promptly charged to 100%. We will see what else it did when I get to the car this afternoon, maybe.

Same thing for me.
