Departure times in FordPass app not working

This was working great for me (i used it a few days ago) and all of a sudden its not working. On the main vehicle screen it displays the next available departure time, but when I click on the box I get the screen you have displayed. I would normally see the departures times and an add departure button.

This is not normal, this app feature is not working anymore.

I was in IT. If we rolled out software with bugs, heads roll.

Not sure what it is but it has been there for a while. So you think it is FP that is king not the car? It works once in a while if you use the car which could cause problems for us in service but may need to head there again as this problem has not been recognized to date here. Happened some time over the summer and not at all good this fall at least since Departure Scheduling hit and miss this fall. I have had software and hardware replaced since last winter so I am not sure. Know as some have mentioned a bit warped and if it was consistent same thing equals same result it would not feel to us that it had that character. I have got it work a few times but it takes some work and no real procedure to make it work figured out yet. Clear every and add new. What to try after that? My FP is lock right now but setting it in the car is not much better. Bad Bad Karma sit sit and behave

I set up two scheduled departures in FordPass, one for Friday evening and one for Saturday morning. The car did not precondition for either. While the times showed in the app snd fud save, they weren’t showing in the car when I checked after discovering a cold car. Further, when I checked the app there were no departure times. Even though both showed on Friday.

As for reporting it, perhaps there’s an email address in the info on the App Store and whatever Google calls theirs now. Otherwise we need to hope they still lurk on this forum.

The preconditioning of my car has always worked one note you must make sure you have your car plugged in

Someone mentioned that maybe the car is asleep and you have to wake it I don't believe that's the case because as I said when I set it in my car I see the departure time on the Ford the vehicle page that my car was going to be preconditioned at the date and time that I set in the car again when I click on the box that's showing me the departure time I get the page that started this thread saying that there are no departure times which is obviously incorrect

So I'll reiterate again Make sure your car is plugged in otherwise the precondition function will not work

You set the date for your schedule? Mine is plugged into L2 as I understand that is how it works and L1 does not have the juice. All green on that account. Glad to hear it is working some place. I think you are the first to say all the time every time. That helps sync version and power up?

When I say all the time that may be a bit misleading I've only done this five or six times but each time it has worked

Stopped working for me too today. I wonder if it's linked to the 4.23 update, my wife's phone with 4.22 can still set departure times but I can't.

I believe that may be the issue I just checked my Ford app statistic and I have version 4.23 and it was updated on December 5th it worked before that date but no longer is working.

Since your wife's is working it sounds like versions before 4.23 are still working

It is not FordPass it is also Sync which is the car. Makes it harder to enjoy the cars responsiveness in the winter when there is no preconditioning. Not whining about paak or carplay here. Unhelpful. But ya good car to drive.

Are departure settings still good on your car? Decided to make departure time a bit sooner this morning only to learn all departure setting were wiped from the car ?

Any other issues with FP other than Departure Times, like charge level not being updated? If so, see this.

Same here - it done broke when I upgraded to 4.23 (Android.) Makes things a little more challenging since departure times vary daily for me and being able to use the app was nice. Will just have to adjust to setting it in the car.
