The HVBJB is a one and done repair.

Would the tax credit apply for a used car? it would be considered as a first sale new to Ford but DMV would be used car sale.
My wifes been with the company for over 15 years but yes he is being VERY generous. My wife really loves the car and we were only really concerned about the HVBJB issue since it looked liked it can fail multiple times.A Select with BC before price increases was more expensive than $46k. The owner is very generous.
My wife was nearly certain that it would be considered DMV used and dealer new. I'll ask her again to confirm.Usually if it's sold from Ford as new then it's new to DMV. You can confirm that with dealer to be 100%
This is really great to hear, according to the HVBJB map it looks like we live near a few dealers that have experience fixing this issue. The HVBJB is a one and done repair.
It will likely depend on how it's titled. If it's titled as used, it won't qualify for the tax credit. My wife was nearly certain that it would be considered DMV used and dealer new. I'll ask her again to confirm.
The HVBJB has failed multiple times for some people. This is because theirs were replaced with the original, less-beefy part. @scoopman was one of them. He has made the journey that failed his second HVBJB and required the visit to the “Taco Stand” Ford dealership successfully since getting the beefier part. ??My wifes been with the company for over 15 years but yes he is being VERY generous. looks like no open recalls but the weird thing is the service records dont show that any work was done for recalls.. just misc maintenance and some trim replacement.
Is it a ‘21 Job2 car? It might not need any recalls for the glass roof. The software recall for the HVBJB probably got done OTA. Also probably missed the half shaft and CV joint issues. ??looks like no open recalls but the weird thing is the service records dont show that any work was done for recalls.. just misc maintenance and some trim replacement.

They don't have any loaners at this dealership because its a commercial ford truck dealership that just happens to get standard vehicles. What's the problem? That's a smoking price for a "new" untagged MME GT.
Plus if the car dies, she works at the Dealership. Not like they're going to fight her for a loaner or to fix it correctly.
Hello, what does job2 mean? The car was built in August 2021. My wife reached out to her contact at the DMV to see if we would be considered the first owners since it was a demo car. My wife did say Ford would consider it New so warranty would start fresh minus the 6k miles driven already. Is it a ‘21 Job2 car? It might not need any recalls for the glass roof. How much would this job cost? is it a long job?Honestly for that price I wouldn't be that concerned -- assuming you are ok with the car getting the HVBJBJBs at some point. As some have mentioned, you might even consider purchasing and having the new HVBJB installed for peace of mind.
Buy an extended warranty from Grangerford for less than $1500 for 8 years 100k. It will give you a loaner for 10 days then you should have time to deal with the FEV team. They don't have any loaners at this dealership because its a commercial ford truck dealership that just happens to get standard vehicles.
