15 months wait but still no Mach E

why is it, after I patiently waited for my Mach E order for over 1 year and 3 months and it finally arrived 12/13/22, the dealer is quoting me a price that is a lot higher then price quoted at the time of order? Last time I checked my order on Ford Pass on 11/18/22 it was showing as shipped with original order price. I went back to check all the verbiage on my original order and no where it states that price would be increased during my wait time. Not to mention that when I placed my order on September of 2021 the timeframe for delivery was showing only 16 to 22 weeks.

No, didn't think I needed to since price was stated on my order online.

No, I ordered 21, over 15 months waiting they changed it to 22 and then to 23 but the price remained the same on ford pass. I also received notification that there is NOT going to be a price change.

If you ordered 15 months ago, it would have been for a 2022, not a 2021. When your 2022 order was converted to a 2023, Ford should have sent you a "private offer" to account for the price increase.

You have to be careful with the dealers in Florida, especially south Florida….

The MSRP has increased. Talk to both Ford Corporate and your dealer regarding price protection. You should qualify. ??

This is a unique situation since you went through 2 msrp increases not sure how that works out technically

I do not know all the particulars but I believe there was some form of credit offered to MY 21 orders converted to MY 22. Then there was an increase in MY 22 MSRP around 8 Dec 2021 in which orders placed before that date were price protected (my case.) I am fairly sure that at this point all that you have available is the Private Offer as you now have a MY 23 vehicle. As mentioned you need to contact Ford to get your private offer. There is a thread you can read discussing the issue. Perhaps in your case there may remain some benefit/incentive based on the original MY 21 order but my guess all that is available to you is your Private Offer.

WTH, you're the first person I've ever heard of that had had TWO model year conversions! Sounds like the dealer screwed up somewhere. You should be talking to the dealer manager about this, I think they owe you a discount since their incompetence may have cost you here.
