How to nicely tell my dealership I don't want to take my Mach-E Anymore

Ordered a 2023 Mach-E in August, for numerous reason including the lack of tax credit information I no longer want it. Supposed to arrive mid January.

You are not going to be hurting their feelings if you tell them you're no longer interested. They won't have trouble selling it to someone else (and if they're a dealership that sometimes charges ADM, they'll probably do that and make more money from someone else too).

Willing to bet that by the time your Mach-E arrives, tax credit information will be available. No reason not to wait until then, unless you really need the deposit back now.

Call them on the phone and say, “We’ve decided to pass on the 2023 Mach-e. Thank you for your help.”

Right before we took delivery of our MME in July of this year, I told the internet sales manager of our dealership that we were thinking of passing on the car and asked what would happen if we did. He sincerely said it would not be a problem, that they would immediately put it on the lot with a $10K ADM.

Too funny, I ordered one in August which has been built and shipped, and I have also told the dealer I don't want it. ?

I bet after you get off the phone with the sales person, that person is going to jump for joy. They will sell that car in one or two phone calls (wait list) and get $10K over MSRP. You are going to make someone's day.
