Ditto.

Like a robot back-seat driver? This sounds aggressively annoying. If they really want to perfect the technology, I recommend they have the robot announce the lane change suggestion using the driver's spouse's whiniest nagging voice.
Then you might be tempted to pull in to the opposite lane with vehicles approaching.

I wonder if there is any major hardware differences between 21 job 1s and 2023?
Yes 2023 work better, likely don't have to push the door button 6 times to open the door, get updates faster, don't get no key detected, didn't suffer through PAAK issues, they got 2 FOB's, and have a working Frunk button inside the frunk and didn't have to wait a year for Bluecruise after we purchased the car, oh and have more range.

But to our Job 1 advantage we got it at a much lower price.

In early 2023? I don't remember them saying that. And if they did, that would translate to 2024 or later in Ford time.
They did not give a time frame. I think they used wording something like “future features will include…”

Could be a while before I can get back on HWY for vid, but in meantime, see attached pics.

Very interesting to see where it's placed in the settings. Predictive Speed Assist seems to be not 100% linked to Blue Cruise hence I can keep up the hope to receive this also in the EU where BC is not available.

Lane change might be nice on occasion (when I tried it on a Tesla I wasn’t impressed), but I’m much more interested in the car moving away from big trucks and slowing on curves. I just hope the slowing isn’t ridiculously slow… We’ll see, I suppose.

I suppose it would be helpful for the car to check your blind spot for you, and also more seamlessly reengage BC after switching lanes.
BlueCruise stays engaged through the lane changes.

I posted some initial thoughts on the lane repositioning and slowing on curves in another thread, but the summary is that the repositioning works fairly well next to semi trucks but the slowing on curves is both too conservative (aka too slow) as well as tied to the same setting as speed changes when it sees an updated speed limit sign, so I have turned that part off.

Bummer. I hate the auto speed changes per signs since it see all kinds of erroneous crap as speed signs. Oh well.

I find BC favors the right side of lane. Is it still the same with 1.2 or is it more centered?
My 22 favored the right side also, but the 23 does feel like it's centered better. It tends to drift to the right a bit when going through a left leaning curve though.

Experimenting with my new 23 MME: Lane Change Assist appears on my Sync Screen (under Adaptive Cruise Control screen area). Toggle it on. Here is how it works: On highway, put on turn signal, the car then tells you when it is safe to change lanes and begins to move car into the lane you signaled. As this happens you will see a blue line appear with curve showing car moving into the other lane. Then when it gets there, you turn off the turn signal. All done hands free. Pretty cool new feature. If you are coming up on slower traffic, it will tell you/suggest to you that a lane change to go around them is possible. Just activate your turn signal and car will do the rest hands free.

It even works when only the blue bubble is active, without bluecruise being active.
Can you just tap the turn signal one time to change lanes or not?
