How do I tell a '23 from a '22 on the street?

I have no trouble with AM radio in my '22. I doubt the '23 is much different.

The articles say certain frequencies are more susceptible than others. There is some cost in shielding.

Manufacturers are coming to the conclusion it is better to let AM go than shield the interference or listen to the complaints about static.

Yes guess I can use XM radio - just old fashioned using AM from many decades of news listening.

I haven't, but If you build a MME on Ford's website, it just says:
Liftgate - Power

I assume if they brought back the handsfree feature, they'd be promoting it.

They didn’t for the 2022. Ford said it was not available, but the hardware was still there and it could be enabled with FORScan.

They were in process of phasing it out in 2022. Some early builds made it through with the hardware. I believe later '22 builds were without hardware. My guess is it's just gone going forward.

I’m not sure any 2022s ended up without the hardware. I’m not saying it’s there on a 2023, but it wouldn’t hurt to check.

Many radio stations are available to stream.

AM traffic station gets tuned in, once I pass through the interference of overhead power lines on the highway! Lol

I guess the biggest low hanging fruit would be the Nite Pony packages on some 23's.

So if it has black wheels and emblems it's probably a 23.

If the owner uses his foot to open the trunk, it's a '21 or early '22.

If the owner is using his frunk, it's probably not an early model '21.

Nope, it was just disabled. Lots of 2022 owners have enabled it with FORScan.
