How do I tell a '23 from a '22 on the street?

Oh no - just like the '23 Lightning they removed AM radio on the '23 MME!
Going to be an adjustment as my '22 Lightning has AM and I use AM daily....

Assuming you use Android Auto or the Apple equivalent, you can simply stream your AM radio station from iHeart Radio. That way, you can even listen to your home radio station when you are traveling out-of-state.

My late 22 has no fingers in the cupholders. Early 21 has fingers. 22 seems to have less sound deadening by the rear motor as the hum is more noticable.

Can you post a picture? That seems so odd.

One cool way to quickly identify an early 2021 is to look for an infinite blue metallic. They only ran that color for the early part of 21, supposedly because of material shortages. I’m not even sure there are Job 2 IBs (there might be a few).

Did they seriously get rid of am? That's pretty much all I listen to in the car.

I suggested TuneIn to another poster with a similar concern, as AM radio stations are a big part of their pitch. They said it worked great for what they needed so I'll mention it here too.

Every time the wife rides in my car she comments on my lack of fingers. It does not grab he water bottle and she likes that.

"You want to trade?" "Oh, no. You can keep the new one."

Oddly enough my daughter was the first to notice the missing fingers in the back seat armrest as we had one of her water bottles get stuck under them once. Kind of like a Chinese handcuff.

Maybe it is a Select thing.

Can’t you just tune in xm radio to your fav am station? Besides, all u need is theHighway station right in the center imo

Infinite Blue is alive and well elsewhere in the Ford world and always has been — just not on the MME.

I'm still sitting waiting for my order from 9/7 to go into production, and every time my partner and I see a MachE on the street she says "is that a '23?" and I don't know how to answer.

We usually look at the tags to figure out if it's recently delivered or not, but obvs a '23 delivered in '22 has about the same tags. I could probably take a picture of the vin and look it up at home but I'm hoping someone here knows at a glance whatever small subtle thing that will tell a '23 model year from a '22 model year? Usually there's some small difference in the body fascia?

If the owner uses his foot to open the trunk, it's a '21 or early '22.

If the owner is using his frunk, it's probably not an early model '21.
