Every night, I get an "alarm triggered" message on my Fordpass app. The message shows that the alarm went off because a door(s) opened. I go to check on my Mach E, but the car is perfectly fine. The car's flashers are on for the duration and will shut off on its own eventually. Sometimes I will get the error message multiple times. Is anyone else having this issue?

Update the door modules, that will fix it.

Yes, there's no TSB yet but they can call the hotline about it. It only takes about 20 minutes to update them.
Thanks a lot. I will call my Ford dealer sometime this week and ask them about it.

Hi there. This alarm concern doesn’t sound like something we want you to experience with your Mach-E. Could you please send us a PM with your VIN and the name and location of your Ford dealer? I'd be happy to look into how I can assist you on my end.

I have had a random alarm issue for over month. The alarm triggers at night, and sometimes multiple times a night, and the Ford Pass app claims there was an unathorized entry, which did not happen.

I took the car to my Ford dealer and they said they were unable to replicate the issue, but Ford had them replace the alarm sensors, which I did not think was the issue. My car was with the dealer for over a week.
Sure enough, after picking up the car, the random alarm issue has happened several more times, although not as often. Seems like a software bug to me, but what do I know?

I have this exact same problem. This is my second MachE and my first one was problem free. I purchased mine a week and a half ago and after owning for 2 days, it has started to have the alarm go off every single night. Almost always between 4 AM and 6 AM. Really ridiculous and annoying. It scared the crap out of me because I parked in a city the 3rd night I owned it (first time this happened) and woke up and looked at my for pass which told me my car had been broken in to at 5 AM (an hour before). Threw on clothes and ran to the parking garage from the hotel at 6AM only to find the car sitting there fine. Thought it was a fluke until it went off again in a parking lot at a mall later that day. Now every night it goes off...

I also am experiences this problem. It just started after the New Year. Happened once mid-day. And now it's gone off 4 times in the last 24 hours. (1/3 10:29 pm, 1/4 2:21 am, 1/4 4:45 am, 1/4 9:32 am). The official message on my FordPass app is "...security system has detected door opened and triggered the alarm at..."

I was told by ford that I need to take it to a dealer to have it fixed. I do not plan to do that since it appears to be a widespread software issue. What do others think? To keep it from happening, I have left car unlocked last two nights and haven't had the issue. Not a great solution if I have to park anyplace other than my garage :(

I called my dealer today. The service guy told me that my cad had a lot of “errors” on his end. He recommended that I bring it in next week although it could take severe days to fix if there are no parts available? I have had issues with my car’s modem not communicating with Ford rendering my FordPass app unable to get any vehicle updates. Also, a handful of other software bugs.
