Since I have the car, I’ve always had the curved park assist lines on the rear camera when in reverse. After 3.6.2 update, the lines are straight and fixed even while turning the wheel. Is it a bug or did it change a setting? Any idea what’s going on?

I got the same but after my 4.1.2 update. The next time I started the car, all was back to normal. Hope yours is, too.

To speed along the self calibration, go drive for a little bit in a parking lot with lines. Do some forward and reverse actions.

I absolutely could be wrong, and I’m sure Rick will tell me if I am, but I thought I remembered the tech bulletin for this procedure saying to drive in the lined parking lot.

Do you mean like a supermarket or strip mall type parking lot?

yeah, honestly they're really helpful. I live in Center City, Philadelphia and they are essential for backing out of my garage and squeezing in between the parked cars on both sides of the street.

Supermarket or big shopping mall. Not a strip mall. Somewhere you can drive up and down the lanes with the parallel lines off to the side.

I've had the curved lines in every car of mine for a long, long time and they're fantastic. I've never had a problem with the lines being "inaccurate" that caused a problem. Aim the middle line for the middle of where you want to go, use the outer lines to frame your approach, and go.

so if the curved lines arent hitting anything then car should not? often the curved lines are clear of other cars but straight lines are not. Thats where I am having trouble.

The curved lines are showing your trajectory with the current steering wheel position.

Happy to say that this just resolved itself. I did do the parking lot driving around as suggested and my curved lines have returned!
