I'm seeing about a 1% every 5 minutes increase in the 12v SOC with the car running in the driveway.
I'm now working on my interpretive dance of the e-pony. Full on light show via 15 yr old Dell Laptop, extension cords and some glow sticks. (Turned off auto updates in hopes of accidentally trigging it to check it's self)

You can monitor the LVB with a voltage reader that plugs into the cigarette lighter outlet (many options available) or use a OBDII scanner to read the voltage. The OBDDII scanner is helpful because it will show the LVB SoC in percent.
Thanks much. Which OBDII scanner do you use and which software?

From what Ford BEV customer service has told me, you can stand on your head singing show tunes and the MME won’t update until they have rolled out the updates in the wave that includes your VIN. They have also not been able to explain how those waves are rolled out or what order. I suspect new deliveries will wait the longest under the assumption that they were delivered with the latest updates.

I have been wondering why my car has not had any updates since 3.6.1 installed on November 8. I did a chat with Ford.com and they put me in touch with the OTA department. (Over-The-Air (OTA) - English "1-833-926-3233" 8:00 a.m. –11:00 p.m. EST (Monday - Friday), 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. EST (Saturday).

I asked them why my car has not been getting any OTA (3.6.2, 4.1.1, 4.1.2 and soon 4.1.3). She confirmed that there have been attempts to update my VIN via OTA, but the conditions were not met.

She went over the conditions needed for the car to get OTA updates. All of them were met-except I only rarely charge above 70% SOC since last fall. The person on the phone confirmed that they know the car MUST be charged to at least 80-85% to get OTA updates.

Hopefully this will resolve the OTA issues in about a week with the car at 80-85% SOC.

I’ve received 2 updates in the last week and my last one was just now! 3.6.2. With 75% SOC and my LVB was at 75%. I didn’t take a picture of my car scanner. I thought I saved it. I did watched the 3.6.2 update and parking brake OK message came up twice during the update. Interesting….I think I will be using my parking brake from now on!

Try to logout and then log back in again. And before you login to the Ford owner website, refresh your Fordpass app to get the latest info from the car. I have had success with a fresh login/session and can check this endpoint. Once you refresh, the endpoint isn't called again until you start a new session (logout and login). And if nothing else works, use Incognito! Hope this helps.
Thanks for the suggestion. I tried the first part of your suggestion and it didn't work, and set it aside for the moment. Then I got updated to 3.6.2, 4.1.1, and today 4.1.2.

I just checked again, and perhaps coincidentally, I am now seeing the "status?countryCode=" JSON.

Interestingly, my results are a little inconsistent with what some folks have said ITT, that is that battery > "batteryStatusActual" shows LVB voltage, and that battery > "batteryFillLevel" shows HVB SOC.

My results are showing 13.0625 for status and 92 for fill level. The car itself is reporting a HVB SOC of 68%. Perhaps the 92 is a glitch, otherwise the 92 seems to correspond more closely to a 13v LVB than the current SOC of the HVB.

I'm interested in any thoughts on the results I'm seeing:

My Mach-E just got another OTA update. But… it can’t tell me what changed…

Also, my Mach-E can time travel to the future!

Edit: I’m already on 4.1.2.

4.1.2 just showed up two days after 4.1.1 did.
One day for me. Both of those two updates were triggered by taking a quick drive before.

I have to say-Great job Ford. The new UI is great. It will come for everyone soon and it is worth the wait.

If you don't have it yet, call the Ford OTA department (first post in this link). They should be able to advise if there is a problem (and you need to bring it into a dealership) or otherwise find out why it is not updating.

Now waiting for BlueCruise 1.2...Anyone have that yet upgrade appear on a 2021 or 2022 with BlueCruise?

I don't see that one listed on the wiki page.

4.1.3 showed up today - one day after 4.1.2 downloaded and installation!

Great interface-super snappy and very well re-organized. CarPlay seems to connect first try and quickly now too (It has been super flakey since October until 4.1.1/4.1.2 in the past week.)Great job Ford!

The only issue is I realized 25 mins later that the car was trying to charge to 100% and have charged to full when I got home, even though it was set to the 80% limit point. I unplugged it, changed the set point to 70% and then it worked correctly. When I plugged it back in.

Love Love Love the new UI. The Camera always there is the way it should be and having a “CarPlay” button only when you are in other screens (other than home or settings that you can cancel), also fixes one of my other big complaints with the old UI.

The only not perfect thing is also greatly improved-but missed it slightly is the trunk/frunk buttons are on the car icon only when you launch into settings. Still a massive improvement since it is right there one button in on the interface.

I feel like a dope asking this, but is there a way to tell which version my car is running? I've checked the app, the console in the car, and internet searches point to no ability to do this. If this is the case, is there a certain feature/UI design/etc. that can be used to gauge the software version that's running? I have premium 2023. Thanks!

Your question is a very reasonable question. It is the answer that is unreasonable: there is no way to tell what version your car is running. The only way I know is to manually track the OTAs as they come in, so that you know what has been applied and the last one that has been applied. If you have not received one yet, then just wait. When you get the first one, then you will know.

Probably the reason is the way OTA updates are sent and applied. The OTA contains a package of software updates, often changing the versions of multiple programs in the car. The OTA has a version, but the software programs also have versions. There is a way to see the software module versions using FDRS, but nobody I know has correlated what is FDRS to OTA versions. Basically, the OTA version is only applicable if you have received an OTA.

That said, I do think FP or the car should keep track of all the OTAs received so we can easily see what has been applied over time. But nope. Maybe it will become available in November of 2022, at the same time the headlight switch bug is fixed.
