My Mach-E GT got a lot of pushback on reddit. Curious to see people's thoughts on here.

All the vinyl work was designed by a buddy of mine and myself. That includes front and rear stripes, rear blackout bar, license plate blackout and wrap on the wheels. Wing is from a civic type r with custom made mounts. The wing is no-drill and totally removable with no noticeable effect on mi/kWh or estimated range despite its size.

I like everything but the wing. The way the back is is what I plan on with mine (sans the stripes, unless I just do matte stripes). Reddit is a whole lot of non-MME owners. YYMV

Ya the wing is definitely controversial. It is not going to be for everyone. Thats for sure.

Well I did post on r/mache, but I am wondering how many of those people even have mach e's. The rear blackout is actually one of my favorite parts and something I always felt was missing from the mach e to mirror the classic mustang design.

Thanks, I appreciate it since I pretty much did all the vinyl application myself with just some youtube training. The wing really just comes down to personal preference. A lot of ICE mustangs have wings and I have always loved that look. I had a premium before my GT and had the little lip spoiler on it. I liked it, but I wanted something more. But so far, I am definitely alone when it comes to a wing on the mach e.

Oh I love it and thanks! It's my favorite thing in the world lol. If people hate it, it doesnt matter because cars are all about personal aesthetics anyway. I was just shocked so many people were offended by it on reddit.

The wing is fast & furious shopping cart tacky so I could see a lot of negatives about it. It makes the side profile make the vehicle look fat / stubby which contradicts the point for making the roof black in the first place to hide the fact it's an SUV / hatch. I had the badges removed before it was even in my possession so that should sum up my view on stickers / decals / stripes and badges.

"mach e 4x" is just tacky nomenclature anyway. "x" has become way too played out and is dated like "i-" or "e-"

When I saw it on Reddit, my first thought was that Shelby was unveiling their production Mach-e. I don’t hate it, but I’m curious what the wing does to your range.
